Approaches to mail merge/ turning a record into a PDF with company logo?
I'm looking for ideas/ approaches to allow my users to take a Salesforce record and print it (select defined fields) on company letterhead. My understanding is the previously used mail merge option is no longer valid, since SF has long since retired the direct integration.
Do you know any third party solutions? Are their any automation tricks to get this in LEX?
I recognize we can accomplish -- in a sense -- this with HTML in a visualforce page and then have Salesforce programmatically (on its own servers) 'print' the HTML page to a PDF.Β However, since printing is very sensitive to sizing of boxes, much of the trick is to format the HTML page so that it results in an adequate printout.
- What I am looking to print will vary in size, as some of the fields are long text areas that will result in inconsistent "box sizes" and could push the pdf to a second page.
question: do you think all the lpu CDs should be reissued but with more copies and the new warner records logo so we all get a chance to have all the fantastic lpu CDs and the ones without and with the warner bros logos get even rarer?

Is this an Original Pressing? It's Elektra, 1981, 96-01741, has stick to your guns on the label and the back cover, red motley logo on the front and the vinyl has a red center with black writing.
