And if so, what kind of lockdown? Are we talking about a full lockdown like no stores open, can't step out of the house? Just need some info, haven't been following the news
My weekend started with receiving this beautifully wrapped set of presents that came from my secret Santa! A perfect holiday themed gift wrap and enclosed came 2 of my favourite things I could ask for. A set of warm socks because what’s Christmas without socks, I love collecting different themed and coloured socks and feel like they are one of the cutest things to collect and maintain.
Being a crafter ( my passion ) myself, I also received a macrame set to start with since that is one thing I’ve wanted to try but hadn’t tried my hands on yet. Cant wait to get started on it!
I also received one of my favourite chocolates (A big Toblerone bar) Some candycanes and a beautiful Christmas greeting.
I’m surprised how my gifter picked all the things I love the most. It’s my first Christmas away from family in a new country and I couldn’t have felt more warm and a pleasant holiday season.! ❤️
I feel like I might be alone in this, but like... how are you filling your days?
Last school holidays (in lockdown) I moped and sat around and then developed really severe back pain so I can't do that again. But there's literally nowhere to go and nothing to do. I've already been on all the walks in the previous 12 weeks of being stuck at home. I've made 4 baby hats, 3 headbands, and so far 23 granny squares. I've baked and baked and baked. I've put on weight and tried to lose it again.
I'm talking a minimum of 8 hours a day, Monday-Friday of time to fill.
Of course, I have work to do, but I do want to actually take a mental break.
What are you doing which is keeping you sane and occupied for these next two weeks?
After I stole all the items, the targets just went into the basement and starting running around and panicking while displaying "TARGET LOCKDOWN" instead of meeting? Has this happened to anyone else?
