I love to hate her on Gilmore Girls, i sympathize with her on HTGAWM
I just finished the series and currently watching AYITL. I was scrolling thru tiktok where I saw a video where HTGAWM is seen. I started watching the show and Paris is there! My heart was so happy and I think the fact that she was contemplating about being a med or a law student on Gilmore Girls is amazing. On GG, she pursued Med, on the other show, HTGAWM, she became a lawyer. (and she graduated from Harvard)
I am OBSESSED WITH PARIS/Liza Weil as a whole. She is the ONLY actor to 100% perfectly fit back into her AYITL character (Kelly Bishop gets an honorable mention for her almost seamless portrayal of Emily in AYITL) after years and a completely different role in between. Paris is incredible, Bonnie (HTGAWM) is incredible, and Liza Weil is goals. That is all.
So Liza Weil played Amanda Tanner during season 1 of Scandal. However, we know Scandal & HTGAWM are set in the same universe due to the crossovers we had with!
Maybe Bonnie used to be called Amanda Tanner and worked as a White House intern before changing her name and identity to Bonnie Winterbottom to escape her past! 😂😂😂😂😂
Just love love her. Hope she gets another show in the future. Shes great as Paris and Bonnie

The episode "Tangled" from Season 3
No spoilers, I think. Is anyone else digging her playing a super chill character? I'm only a couple of episodes in and she's a side character, but she's just a chill character for Midge to hang with. I watched her in Scandal and How to Get Away with Murder, and she's always super intense or dealing with super intense situations. Seeing a chill Paris, speaking at normal human speed is a nice change of pace.
I personally think it's adorable, they're such an attractive pair.
Am I the only one who thinks Liza Weil (Bonnie) looks like Jack's friend Jay Bray? I thought it was her for the longest time and was very confused 😂😂

So...i can't sleep and after a long winded search and messing around on the internet b/c it's been one of the nights. Some how i was looking through cast lists and saw that name in Season 3 of Pete and Pete. Boom Liza Weil was on Pete and Pete and I hadn't realized it.
I knew she seemed familar when i first watched Gilmore Girls but woah. Talk about a blast my childhood.
Makes sense as she's a Philly Girl (Souderton/Landsdale) and was born in NW NJ. Go figure.

I have a different interpretation of Liza's polemic interview yesterday. I think there's two different informations on the article and this can make it a little biased (I wouldn't doubt they did on purpose just to break our minds).
The first thing I see it's that "The Way It Ends May Feel Open-Ended" information is about Paris and the possibilty of make more episodes, not about Rory's love life, she answered that when they asked if she would return and if the history can be continued. The story always can be continued, they use that information on the description only to make people feel perplexed and the line is totally out of context there.
The second thing, The way I see what she told about Rory, I interpreted like ASP started from a point where Rory not necessarily had found the one yet, but IRL it would be very unlikely that someone would fall in love again or reconnect with somebody from your past like that, but In stars hollow's world is possible, because ASP was able to handle bring those guys back in a natural way for her life and they are still figuring out who they are, just like Rory, this can mean they are changing too. She's not saying Rory will end up alone.
Personally I think is very possible that Rory can end up alone, but is very possible she won't also. The interview is not saying anything especific, IMO.
