If crawfish make up the majority of a river/creek smallmouth’s diet, why are minnows so much more effective when it comes to live bait?
I’ve tried both minnows and live crawfish for smallmouth bait and minnows outperform crawfish 100 to 1, night and day. Yet you regularly hear that crawfish make up the majority of a smallmouth’s diet. What do suppose explains this phenomenon?
Another bait & switch. Not sure how he didn't know better. If you are getting married then wait minimum 2 years and live together a year. Try those shoes on before you buy them. At least he gets solid advice in the comments. 4 months is annulment territory.

Mission Idea: Live Bait
Not sure how many on here have play Gears of War 2 but it sparked an idea. I was thinking of new mission type that involves you being deliberately eaten by a massive worm type creature and then you have to work you way through the organs facing biological hazards (stomach acids, teeth, gases etc.) and make your way to the heart to eventually take down the worm. This could be down to simply chipping away at a health bar or I thought possibly arming an explosive and the having to run to minimum safe distance in a set time (as a replacement timed section for the escape pod)
Thought it would make an interesting mission as there wouldn't be conventional mining but having to find mineral deposits on swallowed chunks of debris. Same goes for ammo drops as because you are inside a moving worm maybe you would have to find half digested ammo drops inside the worm.
I know this probably isn't completely thought out idea but I thought it would make for quite the mission in a particularly unique biome.

I'll be coming to Sarasota in a few months & want to go fishing with my kids. Besides live bait, do lures work well in that area?
I'll use shrimp but at the age my kids are, they'll get their hooks cleaned bare in seconds & I'd rather not spend the majority of our time on the peir or bridge re-baiting their hooks.
Are there any lures that will do well in salt water? Or something that will stay on their hooks longer than shrimp?
