For context I'm a Refuse Driver (Garbage man) & today I was on food waste. After I'd tipped I was checking the wagon for any defects when I spotted a lone pea balanced on the lifts.
I said "hey look, an escaPEA"
No one near me but it didn't half make me laugh for a good hour or so!
Edit: I can't believe how much this has blown up. Thank you everyone I've had a blast reading through the replies π
It really does, I swear!
Theyβre on standbi
Pilot on me!!
1788-1792: George Washington
I don't have any other options and Washington is a capable leader.
1796: John Adams
I'm happy with his performance as Washington's VP, I support Jay's Treaty and I'm wary of the violence of the French Revolution.
1800: Thomas Jefferson
I oppose the Alien and Sedition Acts greatly. I would think that they were a blight upon our democracy and that would be enough to swing me to Jefferson, with reservations.
1804: Charles Pinckney
Though I am grateful for the Louisiana Purchase, I feel that the R-D's navy plan is short-sighted and this, combined with my disgust at Jefferson's affair with his slave would be enough to turn me back to the Federalists.
1808: Charles Pinckney
I oppose the Embargo Act as I believe this will damage American imports and hurt the wider economy. Apart from that, the candidates are pretty similar on issues. As such, Pinckney gets my vote again.
1812: James Madison
Regardless of my personal feelings on Madison, I feel that since we are at war with Britain, we cannot risk changing leadership. This is further compounded by the fact that Clinton seems to be taking a two-faced approach on the issue.
1816: James Monroe
James Monroe showed excellent leadership in the War of 1812 and I'm liking his plans to increase the size of the army and increase pay so this won't happen again. He gets my vote.
1820: James Monroe
I mean, he doesn't have much organized opposition and I'm mostly satisfied with him, so Monroe it is.
1824: John Quincy Adams
Adams is extremely experienced and well-versed in foreign affairs as exemplified with the Adams-Onis Treaty as well as a staunch abolitionist. He gets my vote.
1828: John Quincy Adams
I'm not a fan of the Tariff of Abominations, but I support Adam's domestic policies on internal improvements such as the National Road and am wary of Jackson's personal failings.
1832: Henry Clay
At this point, I despise Jackson for signing the Indian Removal Act and p

This sub is mostly just NSFW puns now.
If it needs a NSFW tag it's not a dad joke. There should just be a NSFW puns subreddit for that.
Edit* I'm not replying any longer and turning off notifications but to all those that say "no one cares", there sure are a lot of you arguing about it. Maybe I'm wrong but you people don't need to be rude about it. If you really don't care, don't comment.

This morning, my 4 year old daughter.
Daughter: I'm hungry
Me: nerves building, smile widening
Me: Hi hungry, I'm dad.
She had no idea what was going on but I finally did it.

Me grabbing a soda from my (what I thought was) half full 12pk...

I'm not ashamed to admit the look on her face was glorious.
I was just sitting there doing nothing.
Nothing, it just waved
