A list of puns related to "Limited Run Series"
Who would you want him to team up with?
I collected all things X-Men through the 80's and 90's and have quite a large number of books that I'm looking to offload to a new home. All books were bagged and boarded and stored in a smoke free home for the last 20+ years. I began collecting with the new X-men series in 1991, so I'm the only owner for pretty much everything after that point. Older books were purchased from the local store in back issues.
Will consider reasonable offers if you feel asking price is too high. I'm fairly new here but you can check my feedback on ebay if concerned. I also traded CCG cards online for more than a decade and have hundreds of references on those sites.
Payment via PayPal G&S only please. Shipping will be paid by the buyer, and will most likely be FedEx or USPS Ground as those tend to be the cheapest. Apparently Media Mail isn't allowed anymore.

While I love picking up a disc here or there that can hopefully support the athletes that are shown via Jomez, GK, and Par Save, Iβm lost at the hype of wanting to get a large quantity or multiple different team/branded discs at greater prices (again, I also understand that some of the athletes get a portion of the proceeds).
Iβve thrown a few signature discs, including the Barham BUZZZ SS and Paju PA 1, and they fly pretty similar to other non-tour versions that I have had.
Not looking to start a debate on this, but looking for thoughts and insights from folks who have a different perspective or different reactions when throwing these discs.
I appreciate all the info!
Hey all,
Sorry if there's a megathread for this already that I failed to spot.. but I'm looking for recommendations on well-produced, limited-run podcasts. Genre doesn't matter that much, I just want highly researched series on interesting subjects. Once I've enjoyed to date include:
Any recommendations appreciated!
All pedals are in excellent condition. Most come with original boxes as well. Open to most every offer, just no overdrives or distortion please. Will consider fuzz.
Looking for:

> "There's also the continuation of Burn The Witch that I didn't plan to serialize, and only showed it to my family and close ones because of pure curiosity. As a result, my editor saw it and told me to make it a series and animate it. It's the first time I'll be drawing manga and anime designs at the same time. I think it will be interesting and overall a good work. By the way, I have finished the manuscript. By the time you read the series, I'll be playing Animal Crossing, and so I'm looking forward to play it with everyone." - Tite Kubo
Don't get too much hype and expect a war arc where dragons evolve into half-human and half-dragon beings like Arrancars by eating other dragons or Witches or something like the final arc with the quincies. If anything I think it will have one arc and will feel more like the Fullbring arc. That reminds me if we will see Fullbringers in London? Wasn't Yukio from London? I forgot.
Bleach: Can't Fear Your World haves a Burn The Witch reference.
> What confronted them, was a multitude of gargantuan dragons, formed through dark red spurts of blood.
>They were not Western-style dragons, rather the dragons were shaped like limbs sprouting on a serpent as five heads akin to those in Eastern folklore, silhouetted a deep red and rushing around the light ashen skies.
> βBut this is unbelievableβ¦β
> As he muttered that, Hisagi observes the huge dragons floating before his eyes.
I'm currently reading Dan Abnett's Aquaman run and I'm loving it so far. During his run, Abnett also wrote a short series starring Mera. I'm assuming that Mera and the one in Aquaman are the same continuity. Where exactly does the miniseries fit in story-wise with Aquaman?
Honestly I'd much rather have this than more comics or books like Silent Storm and Collateral Damage. There's been official crossovers between Superman and Terminator, yet no Halo crossover?
There were some extremely good limited run series of videos they did this year with some great games and a lot of hilarious comedy to match. Which ones were your favourites?
My top picks include Alekhine's Gun, Golf With Friends, Astroneer, and We Need To Go Deeper, but my favourite of the year is easily Emily Wants To Play. I really hope that in 2018 we can see them play the sequel, Emily Wants To Play Too
I think it was about some detectives investigating a la X-Files. Can't find it on google for the life of me. Possible childhood fever dream.
Looking at the Super OX aka the "Oxblood". Apparently he is only making 30 of each pedal as a prototype prior to a larger run this coming year. $149 a piece.

Fellow Aussie Strugglers... put your Grasses on and Praise Dragonslayer... FINALLY, it is coming! While perusing Berserk again on Madman.com.au last night I discovered the orginal series of Berserk was finally getting a Blu-ray edition. Now this is an Aussie only Edition from what I can tell. I checked Amazon for a US listing to see if it was unique to Australia and could find none, at the time of writing this I have found no other listings but hopefully for you blokes outside Aus/ NZ there is a release for it! I will leave the link below. I know Aussie region blu-ray players are region locked, even though they play multi region dvds... so hopefully US can play other region Blu-rays in case this is AUS only. This wouldn't be the first time Madman has gone all out and done something exclusive like this. Best thing about the release is they are keeping the original aspect ratio; 4:3. So no horrible cropped frames, or stretched images to make it fit wide screen radio. I Pre-ordered right away, I suggest doing the same if you are a die hard tragic struggler like myself! Will be giving my Box of War a few more viewings before October! Struggle on!!!

Today, I picked up my first Limited Run games - No More Heroes 1 & 2.
For Switch, I mostly just get Nintendo first-party games and Switch exclusives. I also will get any games that, in my mind, go along with the Nintendo theme. Colorful and bright games like Spyro, Crash, Sonic, etc. I only collect games I like or intend to play, so while I have a good collection, I don't go too crazy with it. I might post a picture on this subreddit at some point, who knows. Anyways, there's a handful of Limited Run games I actually want, and NMH were two of them.
I think most people here are aware that LRG will sometimes release their games to Best Buy with a variant of the original cover. In my opinion, the LRG original cover is almost always better, but at least you're still getting a physical game with a booklet.
As a collector, how do you feel about these covers? Do you think of the variant covers as "lesser copies" because they aren't the original? Do you always try to get the original, or do you just get whichever cover looks cooler to you? Or do you just not care at all?
I'm rewatching Halo 2 Anniversary's cinematics, and i was just pondering the overall state of the Halo series in terms of presentation, Halo 5's avaliability, and the whole package. To explain:
- Halo CE and Halo 2 have had remasters, but the former has aged badly and was outdated in Cinematics and visuals by 2015
- Halo 3 got shunted the Anniversary treatment, with character models and cinematics looking sub-par when you compare it to the recent two, and with no plans to update or change anything
- Halo 5 Guardians missing from MCC and PC entirely, even though its still technically a 'core' Master Chief story
Many fans have openly criticized Halo CE's Anniversary visuals, and when a product like Halo 2 Anniversary comes out only 3 years later, the difference and aesthetic in Halo 2 is jarring. One is quite frankly ugly as hell, and the other still holds up massively in 2021 with the help of its absolutely stunning cinematics and faithful art direction.
But then you have Halo 2 Anniversary's cinematic models, which don't line up with Halo 3 and only slightly match up to Halo CE Anniversary (Johnson's model has the most similarity between games). The lack of any meaningful anniversary treatment for Halo 3 has it standing out as on-par with Halo CE Anniversary in terms of how jarring and different the presentation is. 343's statement of "Halo 3 hasn't aged as badly as the other 2, so we won't be remastering it" held up for about a year, and has since become redundant and false, in my opinion.
And Halo 5 being difficult to access or play, other than through Cloud (with a controller), is frustrating. The defence that "It wasn't a very good Halo game" doesn't hold up to me. Many people enjoyed the gameplay, and had a ton of fun in MP. I'd say the Campaign is worth experiencing simply for folks to catch up on where the story is, and what got us to Infinite. It's as much a Core Chief story as all the other games before it, regardless of quality. And yet, over the years, 343 have said multiple times that it won't come to PC, or that "We are aware fans want it, but we aren't doing it right now". All the other Halo's MP's have gotten amazing revivals by going to PC: Are we not able to get the same opportunity with Halo 5's MP? With Warzone Firefight, and Fiesta with all the variants?
Alot of ranting, but i've just tried to state the obvious in that the entire Halo experience is very inconsistent and its frustrating how jarring it is. Nothing takes away fr

I was re-reading Frankenstein Alive, Alive! (I know, it's not some underground comic) and I realized that tons of people would miss out on that masterpiece simply because it doesn't have the same name recognition as Spider-Man, so, /r/comicbooks, what are some of the absolute must reads that we may not even know exist?
