Got an Uber home last night, about 11.30pm from West London to East London. All was fine, pootling along The Highway quite nicely until we grind to a sudden halt. Limehouse Link closed. No biggy - adds a 10 minute detour.
Except, there was no right turn onto the A13 from Butcher Row. And the A13 was rammed as the Blackwall Tunnel was closed, and someone on Twitter was saying Rotherhithe was closed too (although I don't know that for sure).
It took about an hour to go 1 mile. I've never seen it that bad before. Awful, awful planning all round by whoever it is that plans these closures.
And - why do they close the Limehouse Link so often? What needs maintaining?

I was wandering about Limehouse and came across the entrance to this tunnel. Apart from the strange art on the front, on the side is a roller shutter that leads into a red platform that is about 10 or so meters off the ground. I want to know what this platform is used for!

I am non-binary and want to get back into shape via some martial arts but all the classes I have found that are MMA are for men only. Any suggestions on classes that are local to Limehouse/ Whitechapel area and Queer friendly? Thanks in advance!
