A list of puns related to "Lethbridge City"
after the meeting earlier in the week where the city acknowledge problems with the current system, they are now seeking feedback before Feb 3 on a redesign.

Really, fireworks are usually a couple hundred thousand dollars right? $200k towards the shelter, or a properly run SCS, or an outreach program could do wonders if done properly. With the children's bodies found this year, I think its best the money that would have been spent on celebrations be used to help heal the generational effects of the Residential Schools
Hi r/Lethbridge! As a few of us have filed our papers I thought it would be fitting to introduce myself! My name is Marissa Black and I'd love the privilege of being your next city councillor! As someone born and raised in Lethbridge I would love to be able to see this city become the best it can be. I believe in building a stronger community, supporting green initiatives, and encouraging the diversity we have in Lethbridge. If elected, and even throughout this campaign, I will be listening, learning, and adapting. This means I will be listening to you, the people of Lethbridge, and what your needs and wants are. I will be learning from sources such as trade publications, articles, what has been done previously, and people who are authorities in their field and have a wealth of knowledge to share. Finally, I will adapt in every decision I make; incorporating what I have heard from the people of Lethbridge with what I have learned to make the best decisions possible for you. Please feel free to ask me any questions you may have! I'm very much looking forward to meeting all of you, and if you'd like to meet "face to face" (via Zoom given the restrictions) please feel free to email me at marissablackyql@gmail.com or call or text me at 403-894-2299 and we can set up a time for further conversation!
As I approach my 30's I still feel pretty unsettled and don't know if I want to live my entire life in Lethbridge. There are things I like about Lethbridge like the less traffic and can reach the other end of the city within 20 minutes.
I also like that it's not heavily crowded
I spoke to my manager and might have a job opportunity at end of this year and I'm trying to weigh the pros and cons.
Another thing is if I'm out of work for whatever unforeseen reason I don't have many options to fall back to in Lethbridge.
I'm also considering wait times to see a specialist. As this whole sub is aware, I've ranted a few times about my shoulder and the 3 year wait time to have it fixed.
Is Calgary as "red neck" as Lethbridge or worse ?
Would love some insights on your experience with the cost of living, people of Calgary, seeing specialists, and eating out ?
I'm not that picky. I like most types of food. Curious as to what your favorite take out is in the city. Any and all suggestions welcome!
Since its being debated and considered by the city, I'm curious what everybody here thinks!
I am 21, female, currently living in Toronto and planning to study in Alberta for bachelor of business. I am in consideration between 2 schools: MRU and UofLeth. If possible, can you guys tell me more about pros and cons of school, city, diversity, opportunities and night life in both cities?
Hi guys! My girlfriend and I are moving over here to Lethbridge next month cause sheβs going to U of L and I was wondering if people could enlighten me more about the city π Iβve only ever driven through it a couple times, so I donβt know much haha. What are some pros and cons about here? (other than the wind of course haha) and also, as my girlfriend is Japanese Canadian, I was wondering if anyone could tell me about the Japanese community here as well! Thank you! And I look forward to be a part of the community! :)
