It may be just me, but Camilo Madrigal from Encanto! is exactly what I think Leo Valdez would be like! Same mannerisms/looks too!
The Characters have only basic understandings of the others powers, The Demigods know that Todoroki can use fire and ice but not to what extent. The Hero Students know that Leo can control Fire, but not to what extent, something similar to that
In every round the opponents start 30 meters away from each other, and they all get their normal gear
Celestial Bronze and Imperial Gold will work of the Hero Students for the purposes of this fight
Round 1: Central Park, NY
Round 2: Licensing Exam Grounds
Round 3: A Small clearing with a Lake
Bonus Round: The Demigod team joins UA, how well do they do in each Arc of the show

i know a lot of people idolize leo, and he’s this favorite person from the lost hero. leo’s not my favorite but i was wondering if anyone feels the same.
I have to say, I like Leo the most out of any HoO character. He also happens to share my MBTI (go figure).
Leo Valdez: ENTP
Dominant Ne: Ne deals in terms of possibilities and outcomes, along with logical leaps of faith. The former manifests as daydreams and a desire to discover. The latter usually manifests as mastery or substantial competence in a wide variety of skills. Leo is shown to be a skilled engineer, mathematician, mechanic, fighter, cook, and various other seemingly unrelated skills. He's great at figuring out things on the fly.
Auxiliary Ti: Leo spends a lot of time in his headspace. This reinforces the massive amount of input he receives from Ne into internally logically consistent thoughts and skills.
Tertiary Fe: Manifesting as dark Fe, Leo uses Fe to manipulate people. This was shown when he had to confront Apollo. He knew instantly that building him in instrument would satisfy Apollo's pride.
Inferior Si: Leo struggles most with remembering the past and relating that to his present state. This is evident in the many pages of inner dialogue that demarcates Leo's POV. Under stress (Si-gripping), he's shown to remember lots of aspects from his past, especially dark moments in his life. His dwelling on the past is triggered especially strongly if something reminds him of a painful memory.
Leo is a rare example of a fictional ENTP that doesn't have villainous aspects. Most ENTP characters are either villains (Joker, Dumbledore) or antiheroic (Deadpool, Jack Sparrow, Tony Stark).
Who do you think could possibly play Leo, or who looks like him the most? Opinions?
Frank, Hazel, Percy, Annabeth and Jason had more intresting back stories. His felt bland imo.
I found his jokes and character in general pretty annoying.
And then we have Caleo. It felt very rushed and i personally did not like it (it was still better in TOA)

I read the Heros of Olympus series back in high school and I remember a quote by Leo that went something like "No one's going to sing sad songs for you Leo". I really liked that quote and was looking to see if I could find it through PDFs of the books but couldn't find anything.
Was there a quote like this or am I just imagining things?
Ok so... I do not like Leo Valdez, simply because of how he treats Frank in MoA. When Frank says he is afraid of fire, Leo’s first thought was to light up his hand at scare him with it. Also when he says he is worth at least two of three Franks. You can see that Frank was already insecure and Leo made him feel even worse. Then when Nico was stuck into the bronze jar, he and Jason request, that since they do not know know him may should not be trusted. Nico is Hazel’s only family (besides her dad). His jokes mostly hurt people. Also Caleo is very forced in my opinion. I pretty much like Calypso, but she treats Leo like a dog. I think Rick was just trying to please everyone and put Leo in a relationship. He could have stayed single. Feel free to judge

I just started reading the whole series starting with PJO (of course) a month ago and crushed it super fast. I have been listening to HoO on YouTube (shout out to StoryTime with Hannah!) and I just gotta say, I love Leo! I wasn't sure how I felt at first about having all new characters because I had grown to love the PJO main characters so much but Leo grew on me really quick. I just love his attitude and how smart and crafty he is. His creative problem solving under pressure is really impressive. I'm a little more than halfway through The Lost Hero and I'm looking forward to seeing where his character arc takes him :)
Edit: just about finished with The Lost Hero and omg! When Leo laughed at/rejecting Khione's attempt to "seduce" (???) him my love for him grew even more. Plus the image of him turning her snow into vapor is totally badass! I love this kid!
