A list of puns related to "Leicester Square"
Itβs just this massive space, maybe 5 levels all filled with different packs of chocs and very cheap (looking) knick knacks. It stank of weird chocolate-ish smell. Can it really be profitable enough for that site or Is it a front for money laundering?
Every time a Collectable Minifigure Series is released Iβm caught in a cycle of blindly buying packets, opening them and keeping the ones I want and hoping to sell the others on Ebay, furtively fondling packets to guess the contents and giving up and buying hiked up figures on Ebay.
No more!
I travelled down to the Lego store in Leicester Square, London, yesterday - where theyβve sorted out all the minifigures by type - and bought all the ones I wanted. Only took half a day and I think of all the time, money and energy I spent on prior series.
(I hope this pre-sorting isnβt just a COVID thing and it continues indefinitely.)
Wanted to get a ticket for the movie, but getting 2 tickets was cheaper than buying one via my VOXI promotion. Please PM if you are interested. Only drawback is that you have to sit next to me (COVID negative).
I'll be going down to London to watch spiderman with a friend on possibly the 16th. Was wondering which cinema is better, and whether its worth the extra Β£10, as picturehouse central tickets are only Β£10, while for Imax/dolby is almost double the price.
hey everyone
I've seen dune twice at the cineworld in Leicester square (London) and wanna take my little brother but timings mean i can't see it at that IMAX
I'm wondering - because the ratio is more important to me, but I'd still like some visual fidelity if possible - is the bfi version letterboxed or just not as clear as the one in the west end because of the projector?
TL;DR: need a cinema in London that has anything comparable to the cineworld imax
Saw Eternals today (standard). Heard thereβs roughly an hour of 1.9 scenes, should I take advantage of my day off tomorrow and see it in IMAX at Cineworld Leicester Square?
just got back from seeing Eternals in IMAX at Cineworld Leicester Square. the 1.9 sequences were super immersive and the sound was a huge improvement over what iβve experienced at BFIβs IMAX. thanks to those that have helped me with figuring out ratios and the best places to see them!
my next film in IMAX will likely be No Way Home - do we know how much will be in 1.9 yet, or is that detail as secretive as the marketingβ¦? π€¨
I was thinking of visiting the recently opened "West End" Odeon in Leicester Square (Not the main Leicester Square Odeon, the West End Leicester Square Odeon- confusing right?)
If you've been to screen one, I was wondering which row do you think would be the best to sit in? There isn't many photos or info around about it so, thought to ask here!
As above, BFI has xenon vs Cineworld Laser
Any advice?
Hello,
I wanted to watch Dune in the Leicester Square IMAX, but I can only book tickets from the 21st to the 24th. The people I am going with can't do that weekend, but I can't seem to book any other days. Are they going to add more in the near future? Seems like a very low number of available days. I've emailed Cineworld but they have yet to respond.
Edit: to those who are interested. I went to see NTTD here so had the opportunity to ask this question, and they said they will add more dates when this film is released.
