Before looking at their Wikipedia page I didn't realize who this team was!
For those who weren't following the league a few years ago, Yeovil Town Ladies were a stalwart club of the Championship but weren't seeming to be at the level of the WSL which was quite shown when the league shifted towards full professionalism in 2019. Yeovil went into administration in the 2018/19 season and were set for relegation to the Championship, but were unable to secure a 2nd division license and so they landed in the 3rd division.
The team went through a few name changes, from Yeovil Town Ladies to Yeovil Town Women (2019), and then to Yeovil United FC (2020). In March of this year Yeovil United merged with 9th tier men's side Bridgwater Town to form Bridgwater United.
For a team that has gone through a lot in the last few years, it's cool to see that hopefully there's finally some stability, even if it's under a new name. Also cool to see a team that in their final WSL season had trouble beating some Championship sides in League Cup, they beat a Championship side while playing in a tier below.
Hi. I'm from Chernivtsi, Ukraine. On July 30, 1989 there was a preseason friendly game between Bukowyna and Ipswich Town. The game ended 1-1. But I can't find the information about goal scorers. Maybe somebody remembers or can ask older fans).
The fun fact about this game - my father was at the stadium and he says that Bukowyna scored first and then Ipswich made a comeback. He remembers that Ipswich player had mustache. And when he scored the announcer on the stadium said it was Ian Rush. I didn't believe him because Rush wasn't Ipswich player. I thought maybe someone had the same name. But I checked the lineup of 1989-90 season and there were no one with same name. I found match program on eBay and know now that the only guy with mustache was John Wark. So I think that was he who scored. If you know something about this match please share information. In summer 1989 Ipswich played many games against Ukrainian (sowiet) teams.

I love this little guy but I have other slicey knives that get more use. This knife is incredibly well put together, centering = dead on, opening sound = pure sex, action = bearings, so it’s awesome. It’s not drop shut cuz the blade weighs all of nothing but it’ll shake shut if that’s your deal. Honestly, I don’t think there is any wear in the blade or handle finish but they’re both a kind of stonewash finish. All anodized parts look great. The best thing about this knife? The incredible “fshhhwwwTINK” when you open it. Front flip, spidey flick, slow roll, whatever, the action on this is incredible. Includes all paperwork and packaging.

I’ve had this since 2006, when I saw another kid in scouts with one, and had to have it. I carried it but rarely used it as a kid, cause I felt like it was too pretty to use.
I’ve now got other knives I carry, and just don’t find myself reaching for this.
I’d rate this between a B and C but will lean towards C to be cautious since it does have the scratches from carrying.
It is a cool piece and the frame lock is sturdy. The photos here don’t do it justice, so I’d google it for what it better looks like in person.
