Such a great actress and a character with wasted potential. Even after the whole Governor situation she could have had a compelling redemption arc in seasons 4&5. Actress did not deserve how she was treated in the show and nothing compared to the comic counterpart.
Thoughts? I always imagined Crimson Countess alot younger, late 20s early 30s while Laurie Holden, the actress cast for the role is 51 years old. She's an amazing actress and she does look extremely good for her age so i'm not worried, just surprised.
Edit: I know in the comics there are technically 2 Crimson Countesses, one that was with Soldier Boy back in WW2 and one who was in Payback (Stormfronts team) and who also apparently (in the show atleast) was in the running to replace Lamplighter in the Seven but was beat out by Starlight.
So at the time, I was working for a logistics and shipping company. They had a few brick and morter locations meant for shipping most things, but then there was a freight centre at the airport for larger objects. We could only ship items of a particular size and anything over that, customers had to take to the airport.
She came in and wanted to ship a painting, I asked her how big it is and she didn't know which is fair. So I asked her to bring it in. The thing was massive. In our standard sized store it was floor to ceiling tall, definitely too tall for us to ship.
She got so mad and pissy at me. She told me I had to ship it. I explained we can't as it wouldn't fit in the trucks. I told her it can be shipped but it needed to be shipped from the airport (which was a 45 min drive away). She was trying to call our head office to complain about me, which this was a Saturday and they were closed. She yelled and screamed and even threw around her celebrity status. Funny enough I didn't recognize her at first but this was around the time of her tenure on TWD and I didn't watch the show in a while.
A customer later told me it was her, and an email to my Manager confirmed it. To this day I refuse to watch anything if she's in it.
