Lauren Name Puns

Considering this show invites the viewer to try to solve its mystery and overanalyze its every detail, I feel like it has to be significant that there are now two women kind of named Laura on the show. (The two Lauras being Laura Lee and Adam’s college girlfriend Lauren.)

Maybe it’s nothing, but it’s weird to me that Adam, while on the defense, drops a name that sounds so much like Laura. It also seems extra notable considering he drops this name moments before we see Laura Lee’s death onscreen.

I just feel like the show wouldn’t throw a specific name out there for no reason, especially one that recalls the name of one of the episode’s main characters.

That said, I’m not sure what the exact significance of the name Lauren is. Maybe it’s supposed to recall Laura Lee’s name and indicate that Adam knows/is thinking about Laura Lee when making up a name? Maybe it’s an allusion to a character or figure named Lauren that will make more sense later?

To be fair, he mentioned the name Lauren in the context of Shauna asking to know more about him, so maybe he was just trying to provide her with more biographical specificity? But, I don’t know, it seems too specific to be irrelevant to the plot of the show!

Also, with that in mind, maybe we should be tracking the name Paul?

Whenever I see another Lauren, be it online or in person, all I can do is think "wow, she's prettier than me" or "wow, she's cooler than me" or "wow, she's a bitch". This gives me major dysphoria because I'm not as pretty/cool/bitchy as that other Lauren. Therefore, I submit this petition to get them all to change their names, that way I can be the prettiest/coolest/bitchiest Lauren on Earth.

Greene (the Jewish space laser woman) is the most interesting because she represents the Klan infested mountains of NW Georgia which also has ties to the Oathkeeper cell which is actually charged with the conspiracy to kill/kidnap the three members in the line of succession (Pence, Grassly and Pelosi), leaving Pompeo in a position to declare Trump president.

As someone who has only ever been called by a nickname and not my given name for my entire life, if people started chirping me for calling myself that, I would be so bothered. My parents gave me my nickname 10 minutes after I was born and I’ve never been called anything else. I literally don’t respond to my birth name and it’s only my name on paper. I know she’s mentioned that she’s had that name since childhood so the hate is a little dumb IMO. But I do still call her LFU (Lauren from Utah) on this sub because I find it funny hahah

I just noticed that Lauren took Scalia off of her IG name. Did I miss an announcement? Are her and Vito divorced?

In 2x19 a few ship names are mentioned and Puck joins in with "Pizes" (kinda like Pisces) for him and Lauren. Right after he said that, I thought of a different name... Puzes. It's similar to another name for cats and female parts winkwink

I think that Puck would appreciate going by that name hahaha
