A list of puns related to "La Paz Department, Bolivia"
I mostly wanted to know about the DLI (daily light integral) for bridgesii's native environment so I can most accurately recreate this environment in my grow tent. Here's some stats:
its cloudy about 60% of the time in La Paz, Bolivia, which yields DLI values below - considering that, you could probably do about 40 DLI (it gets up to 60 in the summer) but I would spread it out over 12 hours, which is the average day length there as well.

so basically DLI is a measure of how much usable light the plant gets over any given period of time. If you need to give your plant 30 DLI, you could do it in 6 hours, or 3 hours with twice as much light. But thats where it gets really useful - maybe your plant wants 30 DLI a day, but cant handle more than 600 PPFD (general measure of light strength) at a time without burning. So armed with that knowledge you could say "ok I'll give it 500 PPFD, but run the lights an extra 3 hours per day to reach 30 DLI"
about 12 hour days throughout the year, 11-13
0% humidity always (damn...)
freezes 4/12 months
30 inches rainfall per year, or about 18.6 liters of water for 1 cubic foot of soil.
So thats all great, how can you use this? well, based on this, to recreate this environment I would:
I mostly just made this post for myself to set up my grow tent, please dont rip me to shreds this is just based on the idea of recreating its native environment, I understand they can survive and thrive in a wide range of conditions and I'm sure due to subtle nuances there are more efficient ways to grow these
