A list of puns related to "Kroq"
Obviously this would include Cathay too.
Actually come to think of it, who would Cathay trade with otherwise? Other Cathayan factions, maybe some neutral minor factions... I guess you could have okayish relations with some upcoming factions like Chaos Dwarfs... Kislev is wayyy over in the far corner, so with no access to the ocean...
Wait, who actually knows about the origin of the Great Maw? If any Ogres are aware, what do they think of the whole situation? Would that make them more or less likely to trade with Cathay?
If nothing else, surely there would be some residents of Cathay that might know, one of whom might have had their brains eaten by an Ogre...?
As title says. I always feel like j can abrely control one army or maybe just barely 2 by turn 70-80 with Kroq Gar on ME, which sucks because I love his faction and his skill tree. Any tips for making more money?
I haven't listened to KROQ for years since they changed so much. But I still love radio alternative and I've always daydreamed about being a programming director there. In the past few months I have been brushing up on new music that I think would do amazing in rotation at KROQ. Here are some songs I want to hear more on the ROQ
Frank Carter & The Rattlesnakes - Cupids Arrow (Should be a top track)
Turnstile - Mystery
Soccer Mommy - Bloodstream
Pinkshift - I'm Gonna Tell My Therapist on You
Limp Bizkit - Dad Vibes (Needs more radio play)
Ghost - Hunter's Moon (Seasonal Single)
Royal Blood - Typhoons
The Interrupters - Bad Guy (Cover)
I've just started a Kroq Gar campaign, and I'd like some tips on how to play/cheese Kroq Gar.
Long time total war player here. I usually play on only normal difficulty for total war games but I have been loving warhammer so much I have decided to challenge myself. I played a legendary Noctilus campaign and a very hard taurox and enjoyed it.
I decided to try a faction I have kinda overlooked in the lizardmen. Started up a very hard ME campaign as Kroq-Gar. Was doing fine killing skellies and took all of Devils Backbone and Charnel Pass very quickly. Now here I am on turn 100 and I haven't moved an inch. All because of Clan Mors.
My economy cannot take more than one full stack and one 4 stack of saurus warriors led by a life Slann. I have maybe +64 gold a turn now. I was trying to put the Slann in the City at the top of the devils backbone or left side of Charnel Pass to defend then push Mors using kroq-Gar from the other side but every time I do Queek or 2 full stack with generic lords sprints past the slann and starts taking minor cities (even with tier 3 walls) throwing my economy into the red and forcing kroq-gar to come back and fix it. That is all it has been since then as they pull full stack silver chevron stormvermin/ratling gunner armies out their arse and queek has done his best groundhog day impression by constantly coming back. Moving between devils backbone and charnel pass holding off skaven. For nearly 80 turns.
I killed 4 of their armies in 4 turns once and the balance of power changed to near full yellow. I breathed a sigh of relief that I could have a breather to sort my economy and plan my next push but next turn Mors gets confederated by Eshin who then declare war on me and the cycle starts anew. I'm tearing my hair out here and wondering if I should start fresh or move to Kroq-Gar VH vortex and would really appreciate some advice. I win every battle I have with kroq-gar and hes nearly max level with gold chevron army, grimlock and a skink priest (heavens) on EotG and scar vet on carnosaur. ( as well as a max level chieftain who is breaking walls and assassinating skaven like a scaly james bond) but he can only be one place at a time with a 4 turn movement to get to the other choke-point.
Edit- Thank you for all the advice guys its been an eye opener.
I decided to take what everyone said into a fresh Kroq-Gar vortex VH campaign and its made a massive difference. I actually feel like an ancient powerful dinosaur on a rampage rather than a penniless firefighter.
Fine print said winners would be contacted on November 1st. I won tickets to a past KROQ Sound Space before for another band and they emailed me around 4pm the day before the show, but havenβt gotten any emails for BMTHβs show so far, which makes me believe I wonβt be seeing them tomorrow lol Iβm just wondering if anybody got KROQβs email already? Thanks!
Other then RoR are there any campaign mechanics I am missing out on?
I live in LA and was listening to the radio this morning and this station discussed how baristas have had enough with the amount of customizations customers can make. What did they decide to do? Send someone to their nearest store to request a drink with various add-ins they and listeners decided to addβ¦but wait thereβs more. The sole purpose of this segment was to see how the BARISTA AT REG WOULD REACT. Over the radio I could hear the person ordering the drink and the morning hosts saying omg omg is she reacting and the guy laughing in front of the poor barista saying no sheβs not reacting. I dunno if she knew what was going on but I would have quit on the spot if I were her.
Maybe Iβm too fed up with the Siren to think this is funny but I had secondhand embarrassment for this poor partner.
What are yβallβs thoughts?
The Coatl's stealth field will let him actually run horned ones/dinos without them all getting shot to hell
Oracle's give him access to healing spells and as Kroq starts with a pasture he will be able to get them decently quick Thorek provides him an actual trade partner and gives him a buddy to fight queek and the greenskins with.
Hello people !
As i understand it the little gap west of Karak Zorn does NOT function as a passage for trade, and i basically have to go get Quaras or the territory of the silver host to connect my trade route with the rest of the world (eventually).
But if i take one of these area, doesnt that landlock/trade-lock my ally forever, even if he later colonize all the desert west of our starting areas ?
TLDR : is it possible for both Thorek and Kroq-Gar to have functionnal trade route with the rest of the world ?
Ps : playing Mortal Empire
They just nerfed him more. Now he's a monstrous lord who says he good at fighting other monstrous lords but he's hilariously bad at it. If we are talking multiplayer wise he's not even used and now he's even worse.
Is this campaign just a hard start? I'm playing on normal difficulty and right off the bat I gotta fight some dirty skaven, to be fair the early game is the only time it is easy to fight them but in the first few turns these pests have an army and a half camping their last settlement. I beat em but not without about 90% of my army being dead (entity wise I don't mean entire units were killed) then off to fight some pretty easy vampirates, they only have one settlement left because the skeleton lady above em just completely demolished them. So now I have to fight the skeleton lady and some emo elves also just declared war and are raising my port cities. I've already dealt with 2 skeleton armies as well as one with the legendary lord and yet they just keep coming back and circling around destroying new settlements as I chase em down, kill em and repeat with a new army of skeles. Plus I don't have the economy to field another army because I only have one full settlement to produce more than an income of like 100 gold.
