A rep for Kristian Nairn (Hodor) got in touch with us about a fan party Kristian will be hosting at London's Ministry of Sound on September 20, with a DJ set, meet & greets, photo ops, and merch.
Kristian is throwing the party as a way to thank the GoT community for supporting him, and given his service to our favourite show, we thought it'd be fair to make it an announcement.

James Grant and Jody Wisternoff present the 'Anjunadeep 10 Remix Sampler' - a double cut featuring their own reinterpretations of Tomas Barfod’s ’Things That Matter’ and Jani R’s ‘Autumn Feathers’. In their ‘Things That Matter’ remix, James and Jody weave the vocals of Louise & Sharin Foo through a warm melodic arrangement reminiscent of the uplifting house sound of the 2000s, whilst their take on ‘Autumn Feathers’ features a slightly more minimalistic sound with an orchestral influence. Many have suggested that Hodor was not a hero, but a victim, because he had no choice in what he did at his life's end. I am overjoyed to see Nairn (who plays Hodor) addressing this head on:
“There’s a very nice thing going around the Internet that says, ‘Not all heroes hold weapons, some hold doors,’” Kristian Nairn, the 6-foot-11 Irish actor who played [Hodor], said on Tuesday. “He is a hero now, but I think he always was, in his own way....
Although Bran was responsible for the whole chain of events that killed Hodor, Hodor didn’t have to hold that door. He wasn’t being warged into at that stage. It was Meera who asked him to hold the door, it wasn’t Bran. He wants to protect the little guy. That’s all he’s ever done. He wants to help — this is the ultimate helping hand here."
