A list of puns related to "Kirk Wise"
Honestly, I have grown to respect and admire TJ for many years. He always knows whats best for us, and for our entertainment and he absolutely is looking out for us. I think he made the wrong choice to end the drunken peasants. We may have doubts and confusion now, but thats just because we dont know what's to come but when it finally does, in hindesight we'll all be thanking TJ who gives us as much hope as Jesus. If he wasn't born in America' i'd swear he was the mesiah.
Welcome to the week 17 Official r/NFL Power Rankings! The fans will celebrate the new year with an extra week of football along with players like Cooper Kupp, TJ Watt, and Kyle Pitts. With only three playoff slots remaining, some others are wishing the regular season ended today. Did the Colts drop too far after a loss to the broken Raiders? After another monster performance from Burrow, have the Bengals proved their legitimacy? Are distractions and a close win to a bottom feeder enough to move Tampa Bay? Discuss! 30/32 reporting.

1. | Packers | -- | 13-3 | First seeds! Unbelievably with the chaotic offseason we've had, the NFC still runs through Green Bay! Cold weather Lambeau usually doesn't disappoint, and the Packers surely didn't by blowing out the Vikes by 27. Kirk's COVID case doomed Minnesota's offense, but our offense left no doubt about the margin. Mannion made it hard to really judge how well the defense played, but Dalvin Cook did nothing all game which is always a good sign. Now to maybe rest Week 18, but Aaron wants to keep the momentum going so God I hope we don't have another injury next week. | |
2. | Buccaneers | +1 | 12-4 | The Buccaneers managed to win in the final minute over the New York Jets with another miraculous comeback by the GOAT. But that's not why you're reading these power rankings. Because the Buccaneers picked up a second win this weekend with a farewell to Mr. Bogus Covid, Mr. Boss Combat, Mr. Botched Cryotherapy, Mr. Boulder Chucker, Mr. Bunging Couches, Mr... I think its interesting where he had some players. A little different than KTC or FPros
Eidt: "If one is to understand βthe great mystery of Dynastyβ one must study all it's aspects, not just the dogmatic narrow view of KTC or FantasyPros. If you wish to become a complete and wise Dynasty Champion, you must embrace a larger view of the rankings."

I do not think Raheem Morris is a good candidate for our team as a head coach. Here is why:
PAST LACK OF SUCCESS AS A HEAD COACH:
He was not successful as a head coach in Tampa Bay, we either want someone without an established track record as a head coach or a great one as a coordinator, Raheem has neither of these
Yes, Tampa Bay was a shit show back then. There are a lot of shit show organizations that also happen to hire/promote people that would make poor head coaches. Would you hire Mike Pettine? Steve Wilks? Both failed as head coaches and then went back to coordinating defenses that rank around where Raheemβs defenses end up on average
The βwhat if the Patriots never hired Bill Belicheck because he failed in Clevelandβ argument does not work with Morris. Belicheck was already a legendary coordinator before he was fired in Cleveland. His Super Bowl XXV gameplan is literally in the HOF for its genius. Bill won 2 Super Bowls and had a positive impact on every single team he coordinated for. He was well respected in football circles. Everyone thought Belicheck got a raw deal from being fired before the Baltimore move
But Raheem Morris has experience on both sides of the ball! Zimmer couldnβt tell the difference between a running back and a tight end!!:
In general, I will concede that the strongest case for Morris is that he had some experience on the offensive side of the ball. That being said, I do not think it outweighs the negative
First of all, we need to dispense with the notion that all coaches who are coordinators are completely illiterate about the other side of the ball. Coaches like Zimmer or Dan Quinn DO seem to be very slanted in one direction, but they still easily know more about running an NFL offense we as fans think they do. The problem with the Vikings was more that the selection of OCβs by Zimmer/Spielman were lacking OR they simply were poached for being very good. It is a benefit that Raheem has some experience on the offensive side of the ball but it is not necessarily indicative of him being a virtuoso
Raheem Morrisβ βexpertise on both sides of the ballβ is 3 years of being a Wide Receivers coach while he was also the assistant head coach and apparently passing game coordinator. We know absolutely NOTHING about what his role was on offense. They seem to have had a plethora of coaching assistants and always had an offensive coordinator present during his entire duration. Was he hands on? Or was
I'll start:
Kirk: Spontaneous, tough, quick-thinking
Picard: Diplomatic, wise, cautious
Sisko: Frustrated, determined, eager
Janeway: Focused, careful, resilient
Archer: Curious, sheltered, benevolent

Hey, Iβm a media studies student who loves film and TV. My constant commentary pisses of my friends, so reddit is my new outlet since I just canβt shut up when Iβm watching something. Iβm a big fan of the Star Trek AOS movies and I finally got the time to sit back and watch TOS (in production order).
Thanks to everyone who's still feeding me bits of trivia and things to look out for! So far y'all seem to love what I've got to say. I'm going to include some more analytical comments this time around in italics, let me know if I should keep it going! In future, I may add image links to add to what I'm saying, but not for this episode.
OOOOOOO
I see my favourite fictional space husband Bones in the thumbnail for this one, so already I know it's gonna be a banger. I've no idea why the Enterprise literally has rainbow turbines that look like the fans in my PC, but I'm totally down with it.
Kinda cool to see the lamer side of extensive space travel. Nothing but charting star maps for three days. It's so boring Kirk isn't even on the bridge for it.
SULU. YES BOY. Wait. IS THAT AN UHURA I SEE????? Girl what in the hell are those green hoop earrings, that was NOT. good choice. Bad costume department. Bad. Speaking of, the uniforms are steadily getting better with each episode! Edit: The only thing that bothers me is the strange inconsistency with Bones wearing a t-shirt while the other department heads wear long sleeves. It's one of the most distracting things a costume department can do, however I will concede that it's likely because long sleeves are a hazard in an operating room and Bones probably always has to be prepared to perform surgeries. Medical-wise, it makes sense. Visually, it's distracting. It's a bit of a lose-lose situation, but I think I prefer the medical accuracy to visual consistency.
SPOCK IN THE CAPTAIN'S CHAIR OKAY
Oh hey, it's the cube screensaver from my windows XP.
I love that the window? Screen? Window? is just a massive TV. Looks like they literally repurposed a cinema.
"Sound the alert," yeah same shit as always my man. Are you ever NOT gonna immediately jump to alert whenever something weird happens? No. My bet is no.
I'm so in love with the theme song. It's so space age sitcom. I'm almost expecting an audience laugh track.
SHIRTLESS KIRK OKAY. Bones is the most deadpan motherfucker I've ever seen. "You're killing me," damn right he is. "WHAT AM I, A DOCTOR OR A MOON SHUTTLE CONDUCTOR" ugh what a mood.

First of all, dad jokes CAN be NSFW, it clearly says so in the sub rules. Secondly, it doesn't automatically make it a dad joke if it's from a conversation between you and your child. Most importantly, the jokes that your CHILDREN tell YOU are not dad jokes. The point of a dad joke is that it's so cheesy only a dad who's trying to be funny would make such a joke. That's it. They are stupid plays on words, lame puns and so on. There has to be a clever pun or wordplay for it to be considered a dad joke.
Again, to all the fellow dads, I apologise if I'm sounding too harsh. But I just needed to get it off my chest.

Kenny Pickett is an experienced QB prospect concluding his 5th overall year but 4th year as a full starter. In 2021, his performance reflected a clear improvement with a TD-INT of 42-7. In the red zone he was money. 22 TDs in the red zone and only 2 sacks. Statistically, he was at his best within the 10 yard area of the opponent's red zone and during 3rd downs. On early downs, he was most prone to do more than what was needed which resulted in 7 of his 8 interceptions. Turnovers may be an issue, specifically fumbling, due to his hand size which forces him to wear gloves. In 2021 he had 3 fumbles (2 lost) but in past years had 7 fumbles in 2019-2020 and 9 fumbles in 2018.
Accuracy is favorable but he has a tendency to not attack contested receivers in 50/50 situations as much as coaches may like. He is decisive which compliments well with his excellent pocket management and ability to evaluate progressions. Mechanics are best of his draft class coming out of college and if he has space he can launch the ball to a respectable distance, although his arm strength alone isn't elite. Another strength is his ability to improvise throwing mechanics, making off platform or adjusted arm angle throws without a change from his usual velocity.
Concerns start first and foremost with his previous production. He had 12 TDs, 13 TDs, & 13 TDs in years 2018-2020 and 6, 9, and 9 INT respectively. His range of attempts didn't vary as drastically as his TD production. If you remove the 2021 breakout season, his averaged season performance is 13 TD - 8 INT with a completion percentage of 60.3%. In past years, he struggled against ranked teams, throwing 4 TD - 8 INT before 2021. This season he went 2 TD - 0 INT against ranked competition but also had the 70th ranked schedule in terms of difficulty. This is an easier schedule by a big margin vs Corral (19th) or Howell (42nd). Another concern is his ability to improvise late in games as most of his passing success came from 1st & long and early game drives which are typically scripted by the coordinator. As games progressed he would slow down production wise, with a second half stat line of 13 TD - 4 INT vs a 1st half stat line of 29 TD - 3 INT.
Overall, he's a game manager "process oriented" type with an increased tendency to play aggressive as he gained more mastery over the offensive concepts. He will need a patient coaching staff as he may appear too conservative while st

For the past year or so, I've found myself pretty surprised that there are some people on this sub and on Twitter who confidently argue that CeeDee Lamb is the clear WR1 overall in dynasty. Full disclosure, I'm a Vikings fan (rip) and have had the pleasure of owning JJ in my main dynasty league. But from a stats perspective, I feel like it's been pretty clear that CeeDee is, at the very least, a notch below JJ in dynasty value. CeeDee has put up four duds (games under 10 pts in PPR), while Jefferson has only put up one this season. Meanwhile CeeDee has put up only three games >20pts while Jefferson has put up five during that same span. On top of that, Jefferson is on pace to follow up his rookie record for yards by shattering the record for most yards for a WRs in his first 2 seasons.
Is there something I'm missing here? I understand that Dak Prescott is much more conducive to WR success long-term than Kirk Cousins (though Kirk is having an MVP level 2021 season stat-wise, fight me), but that hasn't necessarily led to superior production so far for CeeDee even while Gallup was injured. I'm not trying to gas my boy JJ up in any way. People on this sub do that enough already. I genuinely am just curious as I don't like to let homerism impact my dynasty opinions.
I'll also add that I understand that a lot of people take a tier-based approach when evaluating dynasty players (especially WRs). I hear you and I get it, but I'm really looking for a more nuanced explanation from people who genuinely believe that CeeDee is a superior dynasty asset to JJ other than the casual "CeeDee better" twitter reply under all of PFF's tweets commemorating Jefferson's accomplishments lol

Alot of great jokes get posted here! However just because you have a joke, doesn't mean it's a dad joke.
THIS IS NOT ABOUT NSFW, THIS IS ABOUT LONG JOKES, BLONDE JOKES, SEXUAL JOKES, KNOCK KNOCK JOKES, POLITICAL JOKES, ETC BEING POSTED IN A DAD JOKE SUB
Try telling these sexual jokes that get posted here, to your kid and see how your spouse likes it.. if that goes well, Try telling one of your friends kid about your sex life being like Coca cola, first it was normal, than light and now zero , and see if the parents are OK with you telling their kid the "dad joke"
I'm not even referencing the NSFW, I'm saying Dad jokes are corny, and sometimes painful, not sexual

A wee bit ago I made a thread that looked to analyze rookie WR breakout predictions based on a very simple criteria, and some work done elsewhere. I'll link that here. I encourage you to read that thread if you haven't seen it before as it will make this post make more sense.
How does this compare to the 525 ""rule?"" It's based off of 525 directly, but adapted with a lower threshold + a per-game metric. 37.5 per game is 600 yards, meaning if a WR can eclipse 400 yards and be at over 37.5 per game, they would've made 525. This just accounts for injuries, other situations, while still making players fail the metric if they miss too many games.
In my opinion, this should be used in favor of the 525 metric, as it's more contextual and offers a higher degree of context than the 525 rule.
I'd also encourage your to check out the 1/2 of the way rankings to see how they compare, and get a better picture.
For our purposes, since we're ~3/4 of the way through the season, we're going to lower the metrics to 3/4s of the goal. We're looking for receivers with over 37.5 yards a game, with a minimum of 300 yards so far. (Bear in mind that 37.5 x 12 = 450.) The reason we do these numbers specifically is that a WR you should be able to have a high confidence factor in should easily be clearing these marks.
Before we get into the numbers I want to address a few things. This is not the only number / factor you should look at to rank these players. Can't believe I need to say this, but honestly take it to heart. No single statistic correlates perfectly to predicting success.
This is normally an end of year statistic. I'm marking it through the year just for giggles, but also because it's helpful to see how comfortably players are surpassing this metric, or who isn't and who you should consider dumping.
OP, (insert rookie WR) isn't on the list, but only because XYZ. Yes, exactly. Context is extremely important. This is just one number. Don't just go off of this. Consider everything, always.
OP, I don't understand the scale. These guys are obviously good? This is about assessing confidence levels in players. While it seems obvious that more yards = more confidence, the scale isn't necessarily for the people at the top, it's for the on
