Specifically how they used elements like vocals, reverb, delay etc. in a tasteful and creative way. Itβs not uncommon to hear bare drum loops with sweeping effects or other such minimal parts in their songs. I think thatβs what would bring the listener into a sort of meditative state. All the new age artists Iβve heard seem like theyβre sticking to a particular formula that has worked for them and also their production sounds too modern and clean to me.
