A list of puns related to "Kevin Durand"
Kevin Durand here to talk about Dangerous (which opens in select theatres and on demand on November 5) and anything else that piques your interest.
You probably know me as Martin Keamy from Lost, The Blob from X-Men Origins: Wolverine, and a bunch of other stuff. Any questions? What do you want to know? I'll be here to start answering questions at 5 PM ET.
EDIT: Thank you much for your great questions! It was great to hang out with you guys. Don't forget to check out my latest movie DANGEROUS in theaters and on demand on November 5th. This Friday!!! Much love and see you from the screen!
Who else would you cast and why? My cast is incomplete. Help me fill in the blanks or find a better fit.
Strahd Von Zarovich: Kevin Durand
Dr Rudolph Van Richten: Malcolm McDowell
Tatyana/Ireena: Millie Bobby Brown
Ismark Kolyanovich: Jared Padalecki
Gadof Blinsky: Kristian Nairn
Heβs never been a super big actor, but it feels like he went from being a familiar face as a supporting character or main villain to being someone you never see anymore. Using google it seems like he hasnβt been doing a whole lot in the last few years and anything he has done hasnβt been very noteworthy. The tv show The Strain seems to be the most recent thing that Iβve even heard of.
It seems heβs lost the spotlight and fell into b rated work. Which is a shame because I remember usually enjoying him when I did see him in something. Heβs always had a super recognizable face, and he was good at being the bad guy.
So what happened?
Edit: i should say that I didnβt mean to say The Strain wasnβt noteworthy. I just havenβt seen it. After that show though he doesnβt seem to have been doing much so far.
Kevin Durand here to talk about βDark Was The Nightβ (which opens TODAY in theaters, video on demand and iTunes), FXβs βThe Strainβ and anything else that piques your interest.

Edit: Hey, thank you so much for all your questions I'm sorry I didn't get to all of them, but I have to start winding down so that I can sleep and wreak more havoc in Viking land tomorrow morning! Thank you to the mods for helping me out on the phone and transposing my answers! If it were left up to me I'd probably still be on the first question because I type with the hands of a sasquatch! Appreciate all your thoughtful questions and compliments and comments and hope we can do this again sometime!
All the very best and check out Dark Was the Night opening today in theaters, VOD, and iTunes! And tune into The Strain on FX every Sunday at 10pm. Thank you so very much! Peace.

Had I been following the show/comics back in the day, I would have definitely supported him for the role. The Negan character was right up his alley!! He would have played it perfectly. Now I'm not saying JDM was horrible , but I would have found Kevin Durand-Negan A LOT MORE intimidating.
I totally could have seen Rick struggle with KD-Negan in a fight. The RV scene, I'd have been a lot more scared for Rick, and not annoyed when Rick is not having the upper hand.
What do you guys think?
I'm not hating on JDM-Negan. I like his performance, but I jus think KD would have had the acting skills and size to make Negan possibly even better..
In X-Men Origins: Wolverine, Fred Dukes(Durand) knocks Logan (Jackman) flat on his back in a boxing match (before making the mistake of trying to headbutt someone with an adamantium-laced skull.)
I'm not sure if this has been brought up before, but I tried searching this sub and didn't see anything about this...
So I happened to randomly be reading Martin Keamy's Wikipedia page, and I found a pretty interesting fact about the actor that portrayed him, Kevin Durand. The Wikipedia page reads:
> A former stand-up comic and rapper from Thunder Bay, Ontario, Canada, with the stage name "Kevy D", Durand had seen only around six episodes of Lost by the time that he won the part.
I had no clue. The former stand-up comic part... OK. I can see that. But former rapper?!?! Kevy D?!?! That is toooo funny!! I can't imagine that guy rapping. At least I can't imagine him being a rapper back then. Nowadays everybody is a fricken rapper, so nothing surprises me.
Anyhow, I just found that to be very funny/interesting, so I thought I would share.
I apologize if this gets brought up often, but I haven't ever seen it.

Adam opens the show talking about this upcoming weekendβs Vegas shows and pool parties. Ginaβs also back, and she chats with Adam about spending a week hosting a radio show solo. Adam then rants about the music at the local kabob place, and after that, he crowns this weekβs Lord of the Jungle. Adam also takes a fan phone call about hitchhiking, and complains about his hyper vigilance and lack of success with technology.
Actor Kevin Durand is in studio next, and Adam chats with him about working on the show βThe Strainβ, and his role in the new film βDark Was The Nightβ. They also discuss all the crazy characters he plays, and how he manages to balance it all and remain a nice guy. Later they discuss his upcoming projects, and Gina starts the news with a story about the Confederate Flag coming down in South Carolina. Other news stories include the Ariana Grande donut controversy, the recent major power outage that affected United airlines and the NYSE, and the investigation of a very bad Uber driver. As the show wraps up, Adam talks about an epic fishing trip in Mexico with Kimmel writer Tony Barbieri.
Watch Kevin in βThe Strainβ, airing Sundays at 10pm on FX. You can also see him in the upcoming film βDark Was The Nightβ. In theaters and on VOD July 24th. For more info, follow Kevin on Twitter @Kevin_Durand.
