As you might have noticed in the sidebar, we have a couple of AMAs coming up next week!
On Monday, February 23, at 7:00 PM (ET), we'll have as a guest Jacob Schroeder, co-founder of FactsCan. FactsCan is a new political fact-checking website that aims to serve Canadians as an independent and nonpartisan source for checking claims they hear politicians making in the news. You can find more information on FactsCan on their Indiegogo page and in this profile the CBC's Kady O'Malley wrote of the site.
The next day, on Tuesday, February 24, at 1:30 PM (ET), we'll have an AMA with Ken Coates. Coates is a senior fellow at the Macdonald-Laurier Institute, a think tank, and is the author of a recently released study (PDF) championing resource revenue agreements between provincial/territorial governments and aboriginal groups. (You can find the press release for the study here.) Coates can also comment on Aboriginal issues in general, northern governance issues, and post-secondary education policy.
