A list of puns related to "Katja Blichfeld"
Additionally Iβve seen Max Jenkins and Michael Cyril Creighton in one episode each. I figured itβs because itβs a show filmed in New York so they were auditioning around for whatever they could find. Probably being kept in mind by Katja Blichfeld when High Maintenance began.
Very boring content but I thought it was interesting so this sub might too!
We make a web series that portrays short vignettes of New Yorkers who share the same weed dealer. Over the past two years, we've been self-funding and releasing 5 - 15 minute shorts for free on helpingyoumaintain.com.
This year, Vimeo funded six new episodes that we're selling on Vimeo OnDemand for $7.99 for six, or $1.99 each. We have already released three on highmaintenance.tv.

Friends, we have shit to do so we're going to jump off, but we will try to respond to your questions when we find time this week. Thank you for your thoughtful questions and your good vibes in general. (cue "Man in the Mirror" to play us out)
Live from Cinefamily in Los Angeles, Doug welcomes HIGH MAINTENANCE stars Ben Sinclair and Katja Blichfeld and comedians Seth Herzog and Kurt Braunohler to the show.
3 episodes in just about a day, holy crap! Plus the TOC! When #829 plops we will return to our normal practice of stickying the newest episodes, I want to leave the TOC up for now because it's a "special" episode.

Hey Katja and Ben! I think HM is one of the best pieces of culture on the internet, so thank you and everyone else involved for creating something so awesome. That said, most of the lives depicted in the show represent a pretty gentrified Brooklyn/New York (I'm specifically thinking of "Rachel," "Jamie," and "Heidi," but it's present in pretty much of all them). How do y'all reconcile that? The stories in the show certainly seem authentic and that's why it's so relatable, but do you ever wrestle with the politics of what the show and its characters represent? | This is a great question. We are well aware that our point-of-view that is informed by our experience of one very small segment of the Brooklyn population. If we've ever touted ourselves as a voice for more than that, then there would be something to reconcile, but we are very conscious that we are representing the world as we experience, and rarely do we feel the need to depart from that. Sometimes the press likes to say that we represent a much larger subset of people, which truthfully make us uncomfortable, because we see this show as very personal. |
Hi Katja & Ben, love the show, have been telling everyone I can about it over here in the UK! | Thanks for asking. That's really sweet of you to say. |
How important has your relationship with each other, or your friendships with other people in the show, been in making the show true to life? | The relationships we have with friends on the show are crucial too. A lot of our best friends appear IN the show (Candace Thompson, John Pizza, Brenna Palughi, Avery Monsen - to name just a few) and knowing them - their quirks, voices, strengths, etc - does inform the writing a lot of the time. It means they get to play roles that aren't totally removed from their own realities and I think that's what makes the show feel more "real" sometimes. Thanks for the sweet words! --Katja. |
[Hi guys! You came to the HuffPost office and we met -- you're bot
... keep reading on reddit β‘Found this super randomly, but I feel you super-fans like me might be interested.
From the article, dated Oct. 19th:
Screen Australia has announced Story Development funding for six television drama projects.
The projects include "Beth", a spin-off of television series High Maintenance starring Yael Stone...
Executive Producers Katja Blichfeld, Ben Sinclair, Russell Gregory
Synopsis: Beth is a half hour comedy series that follows Beth, a feisty, freewheeling thirtysomething dog walker just returned to Sydney after ten wild years in New York.
What do you all make of this?

Every source I read that says HM has been cancelled has the quote βCo-creators Katja Blichfeld and Ben Sinclair have decided to take a break from producing High Maintenance to pursue other projects,β - which explicitly is does not mention the show being cancelled at all.
Is there another source that confirmed they're actually never making more episodes?
I don't want to step on anybody's toes here, but the amount of non-dad jokes here in this subreddit really annoys me. First of all, dad jokes CAN be NSFW, it clearly says so in the sub rules. Secondly, it doesn't automatically make it a dad joke if it's from a conversation between you and your child. Most importantly, the jokes that your CHILDREN tell YOU are not dad jokes. The point of a dad joke is that it's so cheesy only a dad who's trying to be funny would make such a joke. That's it. They are stupid plays on words, lame puns and so on. There has to be a clever pun or wordplay for it to be considered a dad joke.
Again, to all the fellow dads, I apologise if I'm sounding too harsh. But I just needed to get it off my chest.
Alot of great jokes get posted here! However just because you have a joke, doesn't mean it's a dad joke.
THIS IS NOT ABOUT NSFW, THIS IS ABOUT LONG JOKES, BLONDE JOKES, SEXUAL JOKES, KNOCK KNOCK JOKES, POLITICAL JOKES, ETC BEING POSTED IN A DAD JOKE SUB
Try telling these sexual jokes that get posted here, to your kid and see how your spouse likes it.. if that goes well, Try telling one of your friends kid about your sex life being like Coca cola, first it was normal, than light and now zero , and see if the parents are OK with you telling their kid the "dad joke"
I'm not even referencing the NSFW, I'm saying Dad jokes are corny, and sometimes painful, not sexual
So check out r/jokes for all types of jokes
r/unclejokes for dirty jokes
r/3amjokes for real weird and alot of OC
r/cleandadjokes If your really sick of seeing not dad jokes in r/dadjokes
Punchline !
Edit: this is not a post about NSFW , This is about jokes, knock knock jokes, blonde jokes, political jokes etc being posted in a dad joke sub
Edit 2: don't touch the thermostat
Do your worst!
How the hell am I suppose to know when itβs raining in Sweden?
Ants donβt even have the concept fathers, let alone a good dad joke. Keep r/ants out of my r/dadjokes.
But no, seriously. I understand rule 7 is great to have intelligent discussion, but sometimes it feels like 1 in 10 posts here is someone getting upset about the jokes on this sub. Let the mods deal with it, they regulate the sub.
