- You have your gun out. Because you're a proper soldier.
- You Swap from your gun to your Hacking Tool
- You Begin to hack.
- Hack takes anywhere from 1 to 2 seconds (for infantry) and 4-6 seconds (for vehicles). Hack Completed.
- Swap from hacking tool to gun.
- Kill the target yourself. If an friendly kills them you don't get the reveals. At all. Has to be you. So there IS such a thing as kill stealing in this game with real detrimental consequences.

I've seen Scott Rao have many strange and extreme point of views. Like saying he only liked a dozen or so V60 from the thousands he tried! They don't perplex me, mostly.
But what's wrong about natural process coffee if it's processed with care?

.... Could Rao be Leez herself, gender bent using her Nastika name powers?
We know Ananta wanted to groom Rao to pass his name to him. We know Rao was repeatedly hinted as unusually strong, and we never heard of him loosing. We also know Leez currently has Ananta's name.
Could Rao be some timeswapped version of her, past or future?
The name Ananta means Without an End. This would make it pretty literal as her supposed father is actually herself.
I've played this game more times than I can remember, but I never understood how Rao (not the real one) was allowed to enter The Dragon Palace. Wasn't the Dragon Palace supposed to accept online the pure of heart? So why exactly did they allow a demon in? Did Orca think it was the real Rao?
I just love Rao for defense. He can be the greatest annoyance to every vehicle in game.
You play him right when the choppers start to actively look out for you and hunt you down.
But, sometimes his hacking feels pretty inconsistent.
I'm not talking about the range or line of sight issues. I mean that it's sometimes more or less effective.
I always thought that you can only disarm vehicles..or maybe block their steering (I'm not sure on that tbh).
But....sometimes when I hack a Nightbird...it just straight crashes to the ground...with the pilot, so he/she didn't jump out. But you still get no kill for it.
My "issue" is not the not rewarded kill (you're just used to getting no rewards as Rao main 😅)...but that I feel like there are hidden limitarions to it..or maybe it's different per vehicle "class".
Anybody with a bit more deep insight here maybe ?
Bonus : How do you/what do you need to hack for those "gas" vents at objectives ? Or is it nothing Rao related at all ?

I mean they’re pretty average in my opinion (in all categories: acting ability, looks, etc.) Andadhun was good but aside from that I don’t understand Ayushmans hype.. same goes for Rajkumar Rao. Is it just because they are not “nepo” kids?

With Rao's interesting abilities, it woud be relatively easy to see him in a more active role on the battlefield as his abilities only let him spot how many enemies are in the vehicle and some other minor stuff.
I think Rao should have one of three options, each with their own cool down. If not all of them.
- Disable all munitions & countermeasures
- Disable all movement / lock up brakes
- Completely brick the vehicle, with a heavy cost of not being able to use the ability again until death.
The third is a bit byperbolic, but stands as a symbol of what Rao could really do as a hacker/engineer style character. It would lead to a lot of squad coordination as he holds the vehicle, and the others pelt it with rockets.
Perhaps vehicles modifications could also aid in having more resistance to hacking and being EMPd with more low tech systems, or even back-up generators for limited movement and retaliation.
A simple idea, your thoughts on it.
Also, no negative comments about the game, I genuinely don't feel like getting a synopsis of this reddit in the comments.
I rarely see him being used in games. Hacking an enemy infantry and then killing them to reveal more enemies is cumbersome. His passive need to be streamlined. Give him tracker bullets, everything he damages gets scanned. The opposite passive to Paik. You do not have to hack anymore, just hit enemies with your bullets. Then if that scanned enemy dies, he scans the surrounding enemies.

I’ve mostly main’ed Falck/Angel for their great reward/fun ratio when supporting teams, but have recently switched to Rao and am having a blast hacking/harassing vehicles! Watching choppers quickly flee and passengers bail after a successful hack gives me so much joy, and substantially helps alleviate enemy vehicle congestion when attempting to capture points.
I have to imagine the devs recognize he should be receiving XP for successful hacks, along with when those hacks lead to kills/destroys (same goes for SOFLAM), and when that time comes it’ll make his contributions SO much more rewarding for the player!
