A list of puns related to "Kadir Has University"
Hello everyone, My name is Thomas, I'm a student at North Central College in Illinois. I'm interested in studying abroad in Turkey to study Mid East business and political affairs. My schools offers an exchange program with a Kadir Has University in Istanbul. I was wondering if anyone who is familiar with the university can share their experience with the campus. I should also note that I don't not known Turkish, and if I decide to go through with the exchange program I would be living in Turkey for about 3 months.
I know we all have our own concerns regarding covid and the new variant, but allow me to be selfish cuz I need to rant.
I've made plans to hang out and have fun with my friends over the winter break, but oh no the omicron variant shows up and is about to wreak havoc on everything. Now places are probably gonna have to shut down again and we'll all be once again stuck inside with nothing good to do. Is it that hard to wish for a somewhat normal Christmas? The only time during the school year where I can truly take a break and this shit happens again.
Now term 2 might possibly be moved online again, which means it's time for my mental health to take another nosedive as I suck at making any meaningful connections online. Why can't I have a somewhat normal university life like the people who were born four years earlier than me. I didn't sign up for uni only to spend half of it staring at a screen.
Can we just roll back to June of this year, when we all thought things will only be getting better?
I know everything I just said is incredibly selfish and unpopular, but I had to let it out. Everything is just shit right now.
Thanks for coming to my TED talk. Imma now go to bed and cry.

Like the title says, just looking for a hair stylist who can help me get my hair figured out. I'm always on r/curlyhair and they are always talking about finding the stylist who gave them a "curly cut" and now their hair is beautiful and healthy. I love the stylist I currently see but they aren't very experienced in cutting women's hair in general (all I ever get are trims). Wanting to see what other people in the area think and try some of your suggestions out!
Edit: You guys are amazing! Thank you for all the suggestions, I can't wait to get an appointment made and see what happens!
My old university is mandating proof of vaccination for everyone who enters the campus. They're granting exemptions for medical reasons only. However, those exemptions are only good for one semester. So, if you can't take the vaccine due to a medical issue, you have to reapply for an exemption every semester. Students attend classes during the summer as well for all programs. So, if you're an undergrad, that's potentially applying for an exemption 3 times per year for 4 years. The university primarily offers graduate programs. So, if you're a new PhD student, that may mean requesting an exemption every semester for 7 or so years. That's crazy, right? Or am I the crazy one? How is this okay? What is the purpose of such a policy?
Cheers!
In accordance with the rigorous academic guidelines set by the Journal of Clinical Immunology, Dr. Minajβs research employed state of the art methodology, such as twitter polls and tragic anecdotes from vaccinated loved ones. However, sheβs now faced with a dilemma; does she heed to the advice of stans that comment βmustin tankedβ under PopCrave tweets (who served as the primary sample population of her survey)? Or rather, should she opt to follow the guidance of the mom from Good Luck Charlie?
