It feels weird sharing something like this.. I naturally assume their is no one that would care enough about my world or making up languages to find this interesting. But here this subreddit is, so here is my submission. Let me know what you think! Maybe some comments will give me encouragement to continue wordlbuilding. Note that many of the character piece descriptions were copied from a Chinese language program called Wenlin.
Zhong is a popular, albeit decentralized bastardzation of the ancient Chinese language, spoken on at least one Turchogoi's continents, Jyฤ-Mฤyรนn. ๅปท original meaning is palace. in Jyฤ-Mฤyรนn it is more commonly used in words that mean "cental government", but also used in the "home" and "safety". ๅฃฌ rรฉn depicts "a ไธจ carrying pole supported ไธ in the middle part and having one object attached at each end, as always done in China" --Karlgren(1923).

is the first character of the vulgar northern Zhong dialects character. Perhaps it should have walls around it instead of just a roof? "Compare ๅฎ the hut. ๅนฟ is half of a hut, a shed, a shop" --Wieger. ๅนฟ means wide or extensive. I used the wrong charpiece. Change it to walls of some sort, or roof. unless ๅนฟ was vulgarized to become the radical for roofs.

The jist is that the term jya-ardha (chord-half) (Sanskrit) was abbreviated jiva which was mistranslated into Arabic as a made up word jiba. But since written Arabic doesn't have vowels later Arabic scholars interpreted Jiba as Jb or Jaib which means bosom or breast. Then Latin scholars just translated that as Sinus which mean bosom or breast pocket, which then became sine in English.
So that's some 3,000 year old 3rd grade humor. I imagine the Latin scholars who were translating the Arabic works just going "I have no idea what this has to do with butts and boobs but then again I don't know trigonometry" and continued to scribe.
And the co in cosine meant complementary.
