A list of puns related to "Jwp Joshi Puroresu"
After doing 'Stardom' as the Company of the Week, I figured I would pick another Joshi promotion. After a few days I've realised there doesn't seem to be much interest in the Stardom post so I'm going to include this as a bonus CotW and pick something else for next week. Hope you find something of interest here none the less!

Background
JWP Joshi Puroresu was founded in early 1992, when Japan Women's Pro-Wrestling (JWP), ravaged by internal politics, split up into two camps, dubbed the "shooters" and the "entertainers", and eventually folded on January 18. The "shooter" side went on to form Ladies Legend Pro Wrestling (LLPW), while the "entertainer" side, led by Jackie Sato and financed by Masatoshi Yamamoto, founded JWP Project, later renamed JWP Joshi Puroresu, which h
... keep reading on reddit β‘At the start of 2021 I've gotten into some Puroresu and Joshi promotions which where Noah, TJPW and DDT and so far I've enjoying myself with them. So I like try to get into other Puroresu and Joshi promotions for 2022 and expand my horizons. That's why I asking here if anyone have any recommendations for me to try out and keep in mind I'm regular watcher of Noah, TJPW, DDT and semi watcher of NJPW so no point in in recommending them. So any recommendations?
I hope this won't come across as a strange question but I'd like to know if you know of any queer-coded storylines/characters in Joshi Puroresu?
Hello all,
I'd like to invite you to join our Discord server. There aren't a lot of places online to discuss japanese indie wrestling, but we have channels for that and channels for live show discussion too.
Like r/indiewrestling, we love the Japanese indies like Sendai Girls, Actwres girl'Z, ChocoPro, Diana, Marvelous, Michinoku Pro, Big Japan, FREEDOMS, OZ Academy, WAVE, Pure-J, SEAdLINNNG, HEAT-UP, YMZ and more.
Of course we also feature all of the bigger promotions too like Stardom, Tokyo Joshi, Ice Ribbon, New Japan, DDT, NOAH, etc too.
We also cater to fans who want to chat about wrestling outside of Japan too, so you can also talk about western indie wrestling.
We have live event discussion channels during shows, a match recommendation channel, 100+ amazing exclusive emotes, GIF and photo sharing channels, regular wrestling quiz events, prediction contests, helpful guides and various social channels to discuss everything else outside of wrestling.
Come and join us! Link: https://discord.gg/kDPsNMzteR
With the coronavirus pandemic taking over the world the past 3 months, a lot of the wrestling promotions in Japan have decided to cancel shows or do empty arena. A majority of promotions are vulnerable because of the pandemic and could close. With WWE rumored to buy AJPW, what other promotions do you think they could buy to have an infrastructure? WWE are doing this so they can start NXT Japan developmental brand sadly. I have to think that if they acquire AJPW, they're most likely going to acquire a joshi promotion, but which one do you think it would be?
Then there are the promotions that refuse to be bought out by WWE. Bushiroad has NJPW and Stardom, CyberAgent has DDT, TJPW, NOAH. Do you see any big company buying a promotion to financially back? Also if WWE happens to buy out a lot of promotions or they happen to close, do you see new companies starting up post coronavirus?
So, every year Tokyo Sports announce the winners of number of categories, which one including the Joshi Puroresu Grand Prize, which Tszukasa Fujimoto won last year. Who do you think deserves to win this prize this year? For me, its pretty close between Arisa Hoshiki and Sareee who delivered multi MOTYC, at least in my opinion. Who do you think should win this award?
Honestly, I am a little hesitant to write here since I haven't used Reddit in years here. Also posted this on DDT's Sub-Reddit too. ^^
Few days ago while chatting on the AEW Discord (also the mod for there), a few of my friends came up with an idea of making a new server together, with the name World of Puroresu [EN].
Already with a few dozen members, the purpose of this server is to have a chatroom for anyone who likes Japanese wrestling in any form, with categories ranging from DDT Pro all the way to Choco Pro and even STARDOM and its sister promotion NJPW.
Any promotion that is currently in Japan would be discussed on the server, with 100+ emojis of several stars throughout the promotions to boot.
The idea came from not seeing many English-speaking Discord servers for puroresu and joshi wrestling, so we thought to have a try at this and see if there are fellow like-minded fans that wants to see the likes of Chris Brookes, Maki Itoh, Kazuchika Okada, Starlight Kid, etc etc.
List of emojis for the chatroom, and more. :)

I have to admit, a little hesitant to write here since I normally don't use Reddit for anything. Also posted this on several other wrestling sub-reddits with the help of the mods. ^^
About 2 weeks ago while chatting on AEW's Discord (also the mod for there), a few of my friends came up with an idea of making a new server together, with the name eventually becoming World of Puroresu [EN].
Already with over a hundred active members, the purpose of this server is to have a chatroom for anyone who likes Japanese wrestling in any form, with categories ranging from DDT Pro-Wrestling all the way to Choco Pro and even STARDOM and its sister promotion New Japan Pro-Wrestling.
Any promotion that is currently in Japan would be discussed on the server, with 100+ emojis of several stars throughout the promotions to boot.
The idea came from not seeing many English-speaking Discord servers for puroresu and joshi wrestling (or inactive ones with barely any work done to them), so we thought to have a try at this and see if there are fellow like-minded fans that wants to see the likes of Chris Brookes, Maki Itoh, Kazuchika Okada, Starlight Kid, etc etc.
Over a hundred emojis of stars throughout Japan to use within the server. :)
We also have a ranking system on the server that is based on titles given out in New Japan and STARDOM, with titles offered to the most active users such as the WoP World Championship (for the most active member of the month) and WoP Intercontinental Championship (for the member with the 'Champion' role).

(PS: Oh, and we have a very active #nsfw channel as well, if those in this Sub-
