Like title said. Already some states are starting to cave under legal pressure concerning PUA benefits being canceled early. Arizona has already done a 180, and Alabama looks like it will as well. It is federal law that you get paid if you have PUA benefits, and blocking the states unemployment offices from processing those payments does not change the law. The fed may come up with a work around for those on PUA benefits in time, but if they do not there are already a ton of lawyers salivating at the chance for these slam dunk cases, but you will need to show that you suffered damages to claim, something you won't be able to do if you end up being scared, and paniced by shills into accepting a job that sucks. Stay Strong, don't panic, and hold hope.

Iโm scheduled to take the SHRM-CP June 18th. I finished all the readings on the SHRM learning system and took the post test today. I scored a 61% - granted I wasnโt in the most test taking friendly environment but it still has me feeling sick.
I suppose at this point Iโm just overwhelmed by the sheer volume of material there is for me to review - with a score like that I essentially need to study EVERYTHING! Any tips on prepping/areas I need to more heavily focus on are greatly appreciated.
Iโm willing to spend on any reputable crash course materials as well. I just really want to pass my first go round!
Fellow apes here is my prediction. The hedge funds are buying shares to sell off to dip amc and trigger a panic sell after June second sets of the start of squeeze.
Reasons.

they can see that the top posts saying the real squeeze will occur after June second. So they know people will be more convinced by a small 100-200 squeeze after June second.

They need money to help cover. Where to find money? Buy back into a company they control the stock price of. (Itโs what I would do)
3 seeing lots of confusion around the voting on June second. Its possible the hediges are causing this with an infestation of goons in our great sub to prevent a proper vote (Not exactly related but still something to keep on your mind)

Any advice/information is welcomed. I donโt know what to do anymore... I am crying and everyday wake up with dread and panic. The flight is 2 months away and I feel like I canโt enjoy anything until I get this over with or decide Iโm not going to go. Itโs an impending doom feeling because Iโm convinced I will die from panic on the plane. I want to get over this fear but I canโt get it out of my head. Iโve asked doctors if this can happen but I donโt trust them. Their explanations are usually short and they donโt seem to understand where I am coming from and why this fear seems so probable to me. I have went to ER from panic attacks and it felt like I was going to die. I donโt know if I should talk to a cardiologist to reassure myself or not. I am afraid they will dismiss me or brush me off without dispelling my worry. Iโve had my blood pressure read over 170/100 during panic attacks and pulse over 180 and if I were on a plane in an inescapable situation, I donโt know what would happen if it went higher then those numbers. The uncertainty makes me want to not go through because I canโt accurately asses the risk. Iโve read things online where people have went into cardiac arrest from panic attacks even though everyone says itโs not possible. The contradictory information makes it hard to know what to believe.
As for meds: I have a script for Xanax and lorazepam but I am afraid those wonโt work well enough. Iโve panicked even while on Xanax. Iโve been prescribed beta blockers but have never taken them. Iโm afraid Iโll have an adverse reaction so I am not sure if thatโs an option for me or not.
I have a therapist and we are working through this too and I sometimes get a perspective shift but itโs often short lived and my mind spirals back into this โwhat ifโ eventually. Iโm doing a hypnosis/reiki session this month too. Iโm trying everything I can.
If you have any advice, resources, information, or recommendations for me, please let me know.
After a year of smoking weed (and a few months if doing just dabs) I had a week-long panic attack that was attributed by the doctor to a "THC overload" for lack of a better term. Where my body decided there was too much and it responded like I was being poisoned.
Tried to smoke flower a couple times months later only to have a massive panic attack.
Just this last week, I bought a few pre-rolls, went home, and then took 3 days just to get through one of them. No panic attack, no sensation like I was dying. I was totally chill the whole weekend.
I'm unsure how often I'll be smoking in the future but it's nice to know I can do it again without worrying. Even though I know it'll last me fucking ages, I'm buying an ounce at a local pot shop later this week and getting back in the habit of rolling my own joints.
Tl;dr couldn't smoke for 3/4 of a year and now I can again. It's good to be back.

As my frantic title states, I am losing my collective s***. I just called my prometric center for my Step 1 scheduled for May 23rd. The center is in Western PA, and I never received an email of cancellation, so I assumed that maybe the clutches of corna had eluded me. I called my center today and the voicemail said they were closed until June 1st.
Has anyone else here had this issue? Do I move my date? Am I royally screwed?

Shout out to /u/humantikaan for being a loyal MB reader and for providing some much-needed moral support! humantikaan's question, "What does it mean when an IPO is oversubscribed?" is a pretty good one, so I'll try to do it justice for the traders who are new to the list and haven't been through an IPO season before...
OVERSUBSCRIPTION: When a stock IPOs, it lists a finite number of shares for sale at a set price, say 1,000,000 shares at P1.00 per share. The brokerages then all allow clients to place orders for the stock at that price. The underwriter (the company that is helping the company go public) tallies up all the orders, and if the number of shares ordered exceeds the number of shares for sale, then the IPO is "oversubscribed".
This is a very simplified example. Savvy readers will point out that an underwriter will never price an IPO at a level that won't sell out, because the underwriter doesn't want to be left holding bags of stock. Then there's this whole meta game that's developed involving how many "times" the stock is oversubscribed. Like with our example above, if that stock was 15x oversubscribed, then the underwriter would have received orders for 15,000,000 stocks when only 1,000,000 were on sale. That's a signal of demand; at that price, people really want the stock. Does that mean that they'll also really want it at P2.00/share, or even P1.10/share? Who knows. That's part of the magic, frustration, exhilaration, and sadness of an IPO.

How densely populated is FFXV's world with Avatara items/content currently?
The main area of the demo around the gas stop is a bit sparse once you start running farther from it. I was under the impression there's photo stuff and items the systems give in the full game & it's a bit of a make-or-break factor for me (I like the feeling the world is online & alive).
Currently, there's no (Steam) sale that I'm seeing on the Complete Edition, and suddenly there's a doom clock ticking down to the point that I'm going to have to relive another gutted Lightning Returns Outerworld-like game if I don't overextend my budget & panic-buy this before the shutdown late June. If I start fresh and don't rush through the story, how available/useful would the Avatara systems be to a fresh player? On a related note, the FAQ here says Comrades should be started late-game, how's the low-level PC population for matchmaking right now - is it (Comrades) worth investing in now?
I just got my PC upgraded to a point where I can run FFXV's Steam demo at about the same quality as a PS4 can, and while I was aware Dissidia NT and FF Mobius were having support cut off/updates stopped, I only just learned FFXV's online services are shutting down a few days ago from the post here.
Playing Lightning Returns, Outerworld stuff was removed from the PS3 version ages ago, and it guts me that I got locked out of seeing the world populated with other peoples' stuff (so many long, empty hallways....) and I missed all of the extra costume adornments the system offered - my "gaming OCD" took a hit.
I'm planning to hunt down the Kingsglaive film to watch after I exhaust the Steam demo (on Crackle?) since the FAQ and searching around here suggests it's a good watch once CH1 is completed. I was going to wait for a Steam spring sale, but Google says there wasn't one last year and I'm worried if I wait I'm going to miss out and lose everything - any thoughts/help someone that's used the online features a lot can give to a potential (panicked) buyer?
