A list of puns related to "Jpx"
Ordered Sim2 irons on Christmas Day. They came completely destroyed (severely scratched, heads broken off, grips smashed). Was able to get a refund, but they are backordered and the Stealths don't come out until April. Impulse bought the Hot metals / project X 6.0 rifles. Can't wait to get these bad boys! First time Mizuno buyer.
Got fit for a set of Hot Metals and waiting on them to come in. Love the look and feel. Not too chunky for me, and the club weight felt great. Had a Mavrik 7i that hits well, but it just feels way too heavy. Iβm about a 10-12 handicap, and Iβve been testing irons out to replace my old Golden Bear G-Power irons from 15+ years ago lol.
What are your thoughts on them? Iβm hoping I have the same results on the course as I did at the fitting.
Coming from an real authentic high forgiveness cavity-back Callaway set and thinking of rebuilding my bag from bottom up. Iβm looking in this range of irons of
MIZUNO JPX Hot Metal 921 VS. TAYLORMADE P790,
from my understanding theyβre comparable what is everyoneβs thoughts ?

I currently own a Mizuno MX-23 Iron set that I bought second hand about 10 or 12 years ago. Still performing fine, but getting a bit worn and I was looking for an upgrade anyway. I've been eying the JPX forged for a few years now, and finally pulled the trigger, and also decided to get decently fitted this time.
I went to the Mizuno fitting centre in Zeewolde, Netherlands. They're a certified mizuno fitting centre, but do other brands as well. I came for a set of JPX921 forged, and left with having ordered, indeed, a set of JPX921 forged (4 to P).
Here's how it went:
For Mizuno they've got what they call Mizuno "Swing DNA" test. You hit a few balls with a club with integretaded measuring devices for several parameters , that's fed into a computer, and it spits out a list of recommended shafts. I've tested the top three of that list with a JPX 921 forged head. The first one felt heavy (they were all the same weight) and stiff (turned out it actually was a stiff shaft) . The second felt OK, and the third one felt great. Few more tries again came back to that same shaft. It turned out to be a Project X LZ 5.0. For some reason it feels lighter in weight (which it isn't) and also felt softer (?) on impact. Really liked it, also in comparison with my old clubs.
For comparison (and a bit for cost) I've also tried the JPX 921 Hot Metal. I have to say, it didn't disappoint, but still, I immediately missed the feel of the forged clubs. So, still went for the forged heads.
They've of course, also measured the shaft length (mine were standard, the new ones are +0.5" ), and the lie angle.
FWIW The grips will be compound grips with 2 extra layers of tape.
It was a fun and useful experience. Cost 50 EU, which you don't pay when you buy clubs.
Long time lurker, first time poster. Need some advice on buying my first set of irons beyond my Top-Flite starters now that I've been on/off playing for a few years.
I had an irons fitting a couple weeks ago and wound up with the suggestion of the Mizuno JPX 921 Hot Metals (stiff KBS 120 shaft, MCC+4 grip). I just recently found out I get a Titleist discount so did some research on their T300s and the reviews seem fantastic. I don't think I swung these at the fitting.
Now I find myself in a dilemma where I am hesitant and undecided between these two club options! I'm still working on the game and prone to thin shots. Used to slice but now don't slice irons but tend to pull a bit.
The clubs would be effectively the same price so that is not a factor.
Thanks!!
Edit/Update:
I went back to the fitter to swing identical setups of the hot metal and the T300 before deciding. I ended up choosing the Mizuno!
Although both seem like great GI clubs, the Mizuno felt better to me. The T300 club head felt heavier but didnβt seem to launch better. Mizuno was a more consistent for me although my swing itself is inconsistent still. The Mishits werenβt killers and the solid hits were gold
Does anyone know of the serials no longer being stamped on the hosel during covid?
There seems to be an abundance of 921 HMP with no serials on the hosel.
Anyone with 921 HMP willing to share pics showing serials/build date stamp would be useful, especially in the UK.

Also would it be detrimental to my game to have different shafts across my irons split like this?
EDIT: *825 not 850
So folks, Iβm after a hybrid and fancy one to match my 200x woods and MX-19 irons. Whatβs the difference between JPX and the CLX? Iβm a high handicap looking to bring it down if that helps?
So Iβm getting fitted Tuesday and was wondering what would be equivalent of P790s. Iβm guessing itβll be Jpx 921 forged but do you think the tours would be a rough transition? 14 hdcp atm.
Hey all!
Just picked up a new JPX hybrid from eBay - love Mizuno clubs but need to get a shaft on it.
Has anyone seen/any ideas on where to get a shaft adaptor? Had a look around, and cant see anything that would fit, looking into the club head it looks like the who inside is slightly off centre.
Thanks for any help!!

Iβm in the market for a set of irons. I would like to stay around the $600-$750 range. Price can vary with condition, but I would prefer some that are in pretty good shape.
Not opposed to 921 forged either (would consider ~$800). May even look at some MP-18 MCCs (4-PW preferably, in the +/-$450 range for a nice set).
If you have anything you think Iβd like to see, drop a message. I may not see a pm due to Narwhal making it a little tough to see them at times. Thank you!
Does anyone have experience testing these two against each other? Both have consistently complementary reviews, the 0211s are a bit cheaper though.
I feel the Mizunoβs look better and I like that they donβt have insanely high lofts so they get a lot of backspin.
The 0211s are cheap enough that I can afford to get an extra club but I arguably need to when the PW is lofted at 42, Iβm going to need another gap wedge to fill the gap before I reach my set of 3 wedges.
Nippon Modus 3 Tour 105 R Flex shafts with Golf Pride MCC Plus 4 standard grips. Clubs are in great condition, and I will finish the paintfill on the 4 iron (it was never in my bag). Standard L/L/L

These clubs have only seen one range session and one round. No club chatter, the only imperfection is a ball mark on the toe of the 9 iron (pictured). SOLD
Looking to get fitted for a new set of irons within the next month, and I really like these irons and seemed to feel great when I hit them. I currently play an old set of PING s56 irons. Anyone have experience with these? Thanks

TITLE
Had my entire set stolen from me the other week so looking to get new stuff. loved my 919 and rtx 4 so I want them back.
Dont really care for driver/putter/woods.
Anyone have any righty, stiff old irons they wanna get rid of?
What is the main difference?
Recently had the nons and loved them but they were taken and now I need a new set. I shoot low 90s which isn't great, but as I progress I imagine the pro's will be a bit better off than nons?
Can anyone shine some light?
Thank you
