Noble perhaps comes into 2022 more at risk of being pushed out of the senior side than most are realising. According to the stats, he recorded bang-on average for most measures except for tackles (ranked above average) yet played every game including coming on as an activated medical sub in Round 22.
Despite appearing for 22/22 games, he failed to crack the top 10 in the Copeland for a side that finished 17th.
After spending much of his career at Collingwood to date running off halfback, at times he was moved to the wing where he played a lot of his SANFL footy.
Noble signed a not-unexpected two-year contract extension at the end of 2021. Due to be promoted to the senior list, the AFL changed their rookie rules meaning he will remain as a Category A for 2022.

2021 was without a doubt a frustrating year for the American Pie. After playing the first four rounds he was dropped and only saw senior action again thrice for the remainder of the season, including once controversially as the medical sub.
Out of the senior side, he struggled at VFL level and had a lengthy period in rehab for a bruised larynx courtesy of Majak Daw.
Cox's future at Collingwood seemed up in the air at the end of 2021, and Freo briefly flirted with the idea of signing him had Rory Lobb sought a trade back to GWS. Ultimately, Cox signed for one more year following Max Lynch's departure.

The Season 1 recap made the Royals seem like 100% bad guys and made John seem noble and justified. No one had a problem with that. Now that the Season 2 recap makes John seem about 70% like a bad person, and doesn't mention what the Royals did to him, it sucks apparently.
John Noble plays Vicious' father Caliban in the live-action series. He played Denethor in the lord of the rings. He does a great job portraying terrible father-figures.

John Noble has put in one of the greatest performances of all time (just finished Season 2)
I'm watching the Season 3 premiere as I type this and I'm loving every bit of my binge. Just have to say that this performance from John Noble is simply brilliant and one of the all time greats. This has been such a fun ride and I can't wait to see where it goes next!
Why does Noble Team have officer ranks but John 117, The Master Chief, have enlisted ranks, what about the Spartan IIIs outrank the Spartan IIs?
Something I notice during my run of Halo Reach. All of them (Noble Team) seem to outrank The Master Chief who should still be around kicking ass in the background for them to know the guy on the mountain dew cans.
So why is Noble Team ranks higher than John?
I know its a whole thing where they want to make the noble team on par with John, as a meta answer and a writer crutch. but still. Am I blind or did Noble Team somehow do cooler stuff or were enlisted different because of ONI and so the Spartan IIs got shafted with enlisted ranks.

John Noble brought so much to this show
I am rewatching and I feel like I did not appreciate the first time around how much John Noble is responsible for this show working. Not to say the other actors don't give good performances but he is both the main comic relief actor and the one having to carry probably most of the serious emotional dramatic scenes. He can be completely goofy and mired in sci fi nonsense one moment and then get you to forget all of the sci fi bullshit and be heartbreakingly broken in the next.

Someone gave me John Steinbeck's The Acts of King Arthur and his Noble Knights as a gift. I don't know much about King Arthur. How does this book stack up to others?
I'm going to read the book regardless. It was given to me because I like Steinbeck. I've long been interested in King Arthur, but never got around to reading any of the stories about him.
