Is portrayal of John Graves Simcoe accurate?
Canadian here. I enjoyed this series very much having only a foggy idea of the events of the American Revolution. One aspect that caught my interest was the portrayal of John Graves Simcoe who is a notable villain in the show. I knew little about him other than he later was considered a distinguished citizen in Upper Canada after the war. My question is: Was the Simcoe in "Turn" an accurate portrayal of who he really was?
