A list of puns related to "John F. Kennedy Assassination Rifle"
On the 1st November 1963, units of the Army of the Republic of Vietnam (ARVN), with approval (though without any large aid) from the CIA, overthrew the South Vietnamese Government, led by Ngo Dinh Diem. There were many reasons for this, but chiefly were that that the USA had stopped supporting Diem's Regime in the aftermath of the Buddhist Crisis which had started earlier that year, in which the Catholic minority government of South Vietnam suppressed the Buddhist majority population of the country. JFK reluctantly agreed to approve support for the coup, although he would immediately regret his support for the coup the day after it had taken place. Diem was killed and a new government was put in place by the next day. Crucially, the new government was effectively a military government, compared to the previous civilian dictatorship of Diem, and lacked any real political ideology or long term plans for the country.
Fast forward 20 days, and JFK himself was assassinated, by what seemed to be a lone agent. In his place, LBJ became President. The ''conspiracy'' part starts now. Almost a year later, 2nd August 1964, North Vietnamese ships allegedly attack US ships, leading to eventual full scale American intervention in the Vietnam War. Now, would this have been possible if either one of the assassinations had not taken place? Short answer is no. Ngo Dinh Diem, despite being a staunch anti-Communist, was also generally hostile towards the USA, and had already made speeches (in 1962, following a failed assassination attempt on him) claiming the USA was trying to overthrow his regime, and would certainly not have allowed hundreds of thousands of American troops to be present in South Vietnam. JFK, on the other hand, was also generally against a full scale deployment of American troops to South Vietnam, though he had initiated the program of sending military advisors.
So according to this conspiracy theory, both President Ngo Dinh Diem and John F. Kennedy were assassinated under the same plot, which also included the Gulf of Tonkin Incident (which we are assuming was staged), in order to get the USA to intervene in the Vietnam War, and fuel the military industrial complex. South Vietnam's new government being a military, rather than civilian, dictatorship, would be no surprise, as the generals in charge held no loyalty to their own country.
Apologies of this conspiracy theory already exists, it came to my mind purely from reading on the 1963 South Vietnam C

After the Bay of Pigs, Cuban Missile Crisis, and establishing the phone line directly to the Kremlin, JFKβs presidency was cut short, when he was shot, and ultimately killed.
Conspiracy theories abound, even though the authorities caught and arrested the man who shot him, Lee Harvey Oswald, who was later killed.
But what if a set of circumstances unfortunately occur, leading to investigators pinning the assassination on a KGB agent?
For starters, letβs assume Oswald behaves differently after the shooting, and for whatever his reasons, vanishes into obscurity after escaping Dallas, and for our purposes, isnβt relevant ever again. He also takes the rifle with him, disposing of it somewhere so that it is never found, but forgets at least 1 bullet shell on the floor.
In this scenario, we have to make a few things happen. This occurring during the Cold War, it was established and believed that the KGB had dozens, if not hundreds of agents all over the USA, as American propaganda would put it, βSecretly spreading the ideals of Marxism.β
So, for this scenario, letβs say there just so happens to be a CIA investigation going on in Dallas at the time.
Itβs not vital, just an unimportant assignment, assigned to a small team of agents no one cares about to follow a lead no one believes will lead anywhere.
Unfortunately, the lead does lead to something big. Just hours before the assassination takes place, while no one is watching him, the CIA agents learn that the man theyβve been spying on is, in fact, a KGB spy, living hidden in plain sight in the city.
This agent is a normal looking man of average height and build. Heβs joined the Democratic Party in Dallas, and even may know of JFKβs visit weeks ahead of time. Being a Texan in disguise, he is a member of the local gun club. By coincidence, he not only has an identical rifle to Oswaldβs, but uses the same name brand ammunition.
Also by coincidence, on the day of the assassination, he is outside the city, in a remote location, shooting his rifle, alone, as he has done many times before. When he finishes for the day, his rifle well used and fired, he puts it away in his car, resolving to clean it when he gets home.
His handlers have not contacted him in ages, his sole assignment for the time being to blend in.
The CIA immediately mobilizes with the Secret
