A list of puns related to "Jim Hughson"
Honestly it gives me goosebumps every time I watch it. Itβs truly spectacular. Especially now with Covid and everything we are all going through, it represents everything. Im sure you all have watched that clip a few times and bringing it up doesnβt present anything new, but itβs really brought me something special this year, when you have been defeated so many times, you can still rise above and defeat the beast. Itβs what hockey, and sports are all about. That moment in time when the entire universe comes together. That call...βItβs a wonderful day for an exorcism!β Will live on forever. Cheers fellas.
I saw this post from a month ago. I was hoping to catch him doing the Canucks game last night but no luck. Is he splitting the games with John Shorthouse? I'm a Cuthbert fan and will definitely miss him when the CFL (hopefully) plays this season. Just wanted to know if I'll hear Hughson's voice this season.
Definitely not for his announcing, but for having the balls to appear in a commercial with this haircut.
It looks like Hughson and Simpson are casting the western conference and Cuthbert and Debrusk are casting the east unless things change

EDIT: apparently sportsnet likes trolling people
For those looking for a different perspective on the team and series than the usual Jim & Craig experience.
Seems like itβs every game now. I didnβt get much of a chance to hear the commentary last night.
In the USA, the biggest of games are usually on NBC or NBCSN, with Doc Emrick, Eddie Olczyk and Pierre McGuire. In Canada, the biggest games are typically called by Jim Hughson and Craig Simpson on Hockey Night in Canada (typically on CBC). These are the guys who will be calling the Stanley Cup Final once again.
So hockey fans, which of these national broadcaster teams do you like more? I personally like both, but I'll be watching Doc and Eddie here in the USA. Also I'm a bit biased towards Edzo as a Blackhawks fan as I love him and Pat Foley together.

If they put any of the other fucking HNIC scrubs I'all be pissed.
I know that since he's moved to CBC he's really had to become very neutral and passionate even when calling leafs games but I seriously think tonight just proved to everyone that his heart truly is in Vancouver. The excitement in his voice when we got the two goals was amazing. Unlike his counter-part who constantly talked about Matthews he was still very professional with a subtle dose of pure excitement in favour of the canucks.
am I missing anything?
