I am sure many of the people on this subreddit love the amazing and beautiful soundtrack from “The Legend of Korra” composed by Jeremy Zuckerman and Benjamin Wynn. If you are having a hard time finding some of the songs, I found a couple YouTube playlists that have songs from the show in addition to the common ones—“Jinora’s Light,” “Service and Sacrifice,” “To Heal,” and the songs in Book 1. I really hope for his return as his music was absolutely incredible in both series
Recently Jeremy Zuckerman, composer for ATLA and LoK, was interviewed by Avatar News and the topic of the live-action series came up.
The gist is that while, when asked by fans shortly after the show was announced, Jeremy did say he would return as composer for the remake that was more so him expressing excitement/interest and he was never formally involved with the show. I guess with the show very early in development when it was revealed he just expected to be brought on later.
He goes on to say that he is now unsure if he will be involved, as he is upset about bryke's departure and wouldn't know what the new showrunner would want music wise. "Everything is up in the air".
Finally Jeremy says that he doesn't know if whatever deal Netflix and Nick made includes the rights to the music from the original show. So its possible that the remake may not be able to re-use themes or variations of them, and sort of have to start from scratch musically....though again we just don't know.

There are plenty of good sound designers but in terms of original score, I have yet to come across another that has anywhere near the same level of impact and artistry. Though if y’all know one, lmk!
