Has anyone else ever stayed at a Jellystone Park, the Yogi Bear-themed campgrounds? I stayed at a location in Colorado when I was a kid and it’s one of the most memorable vacations I’ve been on. We stayed in a nice cabin in the mountains and they had Yogi Bear-themed mini-golf, an arcade, bingo, and some other fun stuff that I’m probably forgetting. They aren’t the most heavily-themed resorts or anything, but I think it’d make for a fun Second Gate episode.
Are the cabins at Jellystone Park in Luray, VA haunted?
Hi all! This is my first reddit post, so I’m not quite sure how all this works.
Back in April of 2011, my family and I stayed in Skyline Cabin C82 (the one right beside the Nature Trail). Each of us experienced something we believe to be paranormal, but none of us admitted it to each other until after we had gotten home.
As it turns out, my sister (8) and I (11) actually saw the same figure at the same time. We don’t remember the time of night, but both of us recall waking up for an unknown reason to find a tall man standing by the bed, with his arms crossed and an angry look on his face. At first, we thought the figure was my dad and were confused as to why he seemed angry with us. Then, we realized we could see straight through the guy to my coat hanging on the wall. I quickly rolled over to the other side of the bed in fear as my sister slowly did the same.
Later that night, my sister woke up again to see a man sitting at the dining table in the other room. She turned on her flashlight to see who it was, and the figure disappeared.
My mom also woke up during the night to see a white orb fly in through the window and out through the door. As soon as the light went through the window, she heard a voice scream “You don’t belong here” or “You aren’t welcome here” (one of the two).
Our stay at cabin C82 is something we reminisce often, but we have always been curious if anyone else has experienced anything. If you’ve stayed at Jellystone Park in Luray, VA and experienced something paranormal, we’d love to hear your story! Bonus points if it happened in cabin C82 (:
