Just finished a great new book that focuses on the life and music of Jeff Porcaro! Definitely some great Steely stories: from drumming on "Night by Night", joining them on tour, the Katy Lied sessions and grappling with Your Gold Teeth II, the perceived Royal Scam snub, the infamous marathon session to capture the drums for "Gaucho", etc.
Great insights from interviews with Donald Fagen and Gary Katz that I hadn't read before. Highly recommend this book.

I had trouble finding somewhere on Reddit to discuss Jeff's work specifically, but I've seen quite a few people here praising his extensive and legendary work with the Dan, so there is now a Jeff Porcaro subreddit up and running if you want to discuss Jeff in general.
