A list of puns related to "Jayne Ann Krentz"
Hi all! Just wondering if anyone can give me suggestions on where to start with Jayne Ann Krentz's books? She's been suggested to me as one of the authors to check out for romantic suspense.
Would appreciate it greatly if anyone can recommend some of your favourite books written by her. Romantic suspense titles are much preferred, but a good romance with no suspense is welcomed, too!
Thanks! πππ»
I read it around 2009
I remember they were having troubles in their marriage and the hero was sexually abused when he was younger but he never told the heroine about.
Please let me know if you recognize this book!
My report for the end of week topic went overlong, so it gets its own topic.
Ravished by Amanda Quick/Jayne Ann Krentz as recommended by u/abookishsort and endorsed by u/bruno1739. 5 star/great/reread list.
Don't you love it when you step away from your computer for literally 15 minutes, and it decides it needs to restart to update and loses all your comments on a book and the page in the book?πΏ I shall try to recreate them.
Harriet asking for >!ID from my lord!< caused me to laugh so loudly I had to apologize to my dog for scaring her.
It is unreasonbable that >!no one mentions the possiblilty Gideon may have spurned his pregnant fiance who committed suicide because he had never slept with her.!<
I love Harriet's single mindedness.
A reasonable reason for a >!forced first kiss!< for once. Makes a nice change.
I loved the powerful lord >!demanding a waltz be played to the delight of the youths.!<
Gideon's >!passionate explanation of what it is like to have your reputation ruined!< was powerful.
>!βYou will not refer to his lordship as a beast again, Mrs. Stone. Do you understand? If you do so, you will find yourself looking for another position.ββ¦ Gideon was no beast. He was a man who had been badly scarred by life and his own fate, but he was no beast. Harriet knew she would stake her life and her own reputation on that.!< Now THAT is the good stuff. Respect for and defense of each other REALLY gets to me.
>!Mrs Stone called Gideon a best 3 times and Harriet didn't fire her???!< I just lost some respect for Harriet.
I have just met >!Morland. His heavy handed introduction makes me believe he will prove to be the dead ex-fiance's lover.!< Clumsy writing if true.
OK, the author was saving >!the obvious alternative explanation for the dead ex-fiance's pregnancy for an unknowing confrontation with her father.!< Unreasonable.
Harriet >!sitting back and relaxing when kidnapped for marriage, knowing that Gideon would rescue her.!< I like that.
Glad to see that >!Harriet achieved orgasm the second time they had sex. I was rather disgusted with Gideon's perfunctory effort while deflowering her.!<
The >!first meal with the in-laws!< was good fun.
Ahhh >!The dead ex-fiance didn't admit to being pregnant, but attempted a suspicious seduction.!< A nice touch.
>!Morland got the dead ex-fiance pregnant.!< I am shocked.π
>!In the middle of a fight with Gideo
... keep reading on reddit β‘I prompted none of this.
TLDR: The party spared Krentz 3 times and now the criminal backgound PC has acquired him as a second criminal contact.
The stirges (well one of them) almost killed Krentz during the opening troll combat at the portal. He was at low hp after being battered by Yagra and one latched on and was about to suck out his last few hp before a PC cut it off at the proboscis saving him.
Save 1.
They ran into him again in the sewer hideout and after finishing off an enlarged Zemk and the ooze behind the door they spared Krentz because he said βhe would tell them anythingβ and then left him and went to fight Grumβshar. He then obviously fled.
Save 2.
One of the PCs is a criminal background and used his contact to locate Krentz (after some investigation and an encounter) and they rolled up on him in an inn room while he was sleeping off a hangover. They solidified the fact that they were all over his ass and could find him at a whim and end him, which is basically true, even without the criminal bg, they could easily just pay Trench.
Save(ish) 3.
Now the criminal has acquired his second criminal contact, who has a significant amount of insight into the Xan/Zhent war and maybe even the GOLD.
Man I love this game.
So, basically, my group managed to capture these two Xanathar grunts and, thanks to some high rolls and a good amount of amazing roleplay, decided to keep them as spies in order to get insight into the Guild. Should I lean into this or just kill them off screen as traitors? Because I also ended up giving them two new goals after leaving the Guild: Zemk wants to be a baker and Krentz wants to sell flowers... Don't even ask me how i got to this, I was too caught up in the amazing roleplay of my Cleric to function. So like, did any of you end up with a situation similar to this? Cuz I wanna have them be regular npcs, but I'm also afraid it might mess up a lot with the plot?
PS. They've also got new names and will get new IDs. Zemk is now Spathi (from Spathiphyllum) and Krentz is Anthurium...
Hey Guys just thought I would share with yβall. The official Krentz website is doing a 33% sale for their wolf modulators which is the lowest they have ever been. Iβm only promoting it because itβs a damn fine product and this is not a paid promotion. The sale will be happening this weekend.

Anyone have experience with Krentz wolf eliminators, tips or thoughts? https://krentzstringworks.com/product/modulator/ Also interested if anyone has tried using them with carbon fiber instruments like Luis and Clark. Thanks!
I am hoping that she Googles her own name or someone knows her through 6 degrees of seperation.
She is the Script Supervisor for all of the prequel films, her task was to make sure that all the continuity was kept. Many here do not like the continuity in these films, so I am hoping that she can come and defend some of the stylistic choices and give context for some of the artistic decisions in the film.
The way she spoke to Sutton was so weirdly aggressive. And I know she would not pull that on a Bethany, dorinda, kandi, nene, etc. What a punk b*tch π. And the Beverly Hills ladies are punks for letting her talk to them that way.
Im rewatching S6 of RHOBH & itβs Erikaβs first season. Shocked to say this but sheβs actually really likable. Iβm very confused how she went from the woman in this season, who was warm & open with the other women, to the huge ice queen in later seasons. What do we think happened?
In most of the episodes, sheβs getting along with the other women, sheβs smiling in most scenes, she doesnβt have the full glam team/any glam team, and honestly seems pretty normal. What changed?
I think the reason why the Bravo fans are being more brutal towards Erika Jayne than they are to Jen is because Jen will go to prison (eventuallyβ¦thereβs no ifβs, ands, or butβs). She will be held accountable for her actions. This makes it easier for fans to digest and enjoy the events unfolding on t.v. However, Erika is most likely never going to face real repercussions for whatever part she played in her husbands fraudulent actions.
