Jason, for his skill, strength and bravery was chosen as the Red Ranger, the leader. As the Red Ranger, he comes equipped with a Blade Blaster (combination dagger/laser pistol), a communicator to talk to Zordon and other rangers, and his personal weapon, the Power Sword, a sword that could be charged with energy.
