A list of puns related to "Jason Hall"
Obviously, both players have a major off-the-field issue that hurts their HoF case, so for the purposes of this question, ignore those issues. I'm not interested in learning how people interpret the character clause.
This is a relative question, not an absolute. You don't need to share your thoughts on whether either is Hall-worthy (although feel free to) - just be sure to share your thoughts on which is more Hall-worthy.

Brings new meaning to the term "head first."
Heisman Year | Player | Last Pro Year | College+10 | Years Eligible | 2020 ballot |
---|---|---|---|---|---|
1994 | Rashaan Salaam | 2004 | 2004 | 17 | Yes |
2000 | Chris Weinke | 2007 | 2010 | 11 | No |
2002 | Carson Palmer | 2018 | 2012 | 3 | Elected |
2003 | Jason White | N/A | 2014 | 7 | No |
2006 | Troy Smith | 2014 | 2016 | 5 | No |
2008 | Sam Bradford | 2018 | 2018 | 3 | No |
This year, Carson Palmer was elected to the Hall of Fame, but most of the rest still aren't even on the ballot.
In order to be eligible, a player must have finished their professional athletic career, and have played their last college game more than 10 years before they are nominated.
Note that it's often not clear when a professional athletic career is over, so some players (like Bradford) might just not be on the ballot yet until it's clear they won't unretire. Tebow (2007) isn't eligible yet because he's still playing baseball, and all winners after 2008 are also not eligible yet.
The most obvious snub on this list is Rashaan Salaam, who has now been eligible for 16 years and hasn't been elected. He was on the ballot this year though, which is an improvement from last year, when he wasn't even on the ballot.
Every time I see this man in a show Iβm watching I have to turn it off. TW for assault and domestic abuse
This was the actor Trisha met as a teenager and dated off and on for several years. Heβs the man who would cheat on her, gave her chlamydia twice, pushed her to get fake breasts, caused those surgery wounds to open resulting in her scars, assaulted her, pressured her into sexual acts that caused physical damage resulting in surgery, allegedly got her and another girl pregnant at the same time.. the list goes on and on. Heβs a HORRIBLE human being who hasnβt faced any consequences because heβs a celebrity and Trisha was just a young girl on YouTube who no one believed. The reason I believe her though is because this would have been an easy lawsuit for him if it wasnβt true. Trisha isnβt stupid enough to make these accusations against a celebrity if theyβre false.
Anyways, hereβs a video of Trisha explaining some of what happened in their relationship: https://youtu.be/shqPwqiJjl0

Biography
A baby was born at the dawn of 189 AC, the second child of a third son in a keep just north of Riverrun. Jason Blackwood did not scream or cry when he entered the world - so much so that his mother thought he was stillborn. But he was strong, and healthy, and surrounded by Blackwoods.
His father was absent from his childhood. He never understood why as he grew up, because he had never met a Bracken before. Heβd known of their houses feud as a child, but only came to understand the full weight of it when his family was torn apart. Because of this he was raised by his mother, but spent most of his time in the yard with the Master-at-Arms.
The eldest of the Blackwood children was his sister Alys. She had a kindness to her, a warmth unlike that of the rest of his family. He didnβt have nightmares so much when he had her for company. She comforted him when their mother died, headed their family when he couldnβt. She understood everyone so well, so profoundly. She disappeared on the night of Jasonβs seventeenth name day, and just like that he was the head of the family. He was the one his sisters would come to now, he had to be the parent that his father couldnβt be. It wasnβt easy for him.
The nightmares came back after Alys disappeared. At least, he thought they were nightmares at the time. They were so vivid, so real. He could see from other peopleβs eyes, feel things others felt, but only in these dreams. His Maester microdosed him with sweetsleep to calm the night terrors, but that only made them worse, more vivid. He didnβt want to sleep, not ever. These dreams were connected to the great Weirwood housed in Raventree Hall, the bodies buried beneath them, the ravens that it housed.
