A list of puns related to "Jason Flemyng"
βAn Oxford graduate takes up a job in a mental asylum, only to discover that the "revolutionary" new treatments are inhumane, and that there is more going on than meets the eye.β
Directed by Brad Anderson, this one belongs to the better half of his repertoire.
Sometimes it suffers a little from pacing issues, however the stellar cast, the eerie atmosphere and the story itself more than make up for it.
If it didnβt suffer constant comparison from Shutter Island, it would maybe be more appreciated.
I know that for me, itβs a solid 7.5/10.
Have you watched it? Whatβs your take?
The characters are the current lineup + Burton, Newsted, Mustaine and McGovney. My selection would be:

Try to stay close to the band members' appearance in terms of looks and height
EDIT: I included Ron at last. So, add him to your cast as well.
"The 355" is a globe-trotting spy story that has such low expectations of its audience that an establishing shot of Paris showing the Eiffel Tower is helpfully labeled "Paris, France" and one of Washington, D.C. showing the Capitol and Washington Monument is helpfully labeled βWashington, D.C., USA.β At least they didn't add "Planet Earth."
The spy movie category isn't so sparsely populated that the arrival of a mediocre entry like this is going to excite anyone. The fatal flaw has nothing to do with the concept and everything to do with the execution. The screenplay, credited to director Simon Kinberg and Theresa Rebeck, leaves no spy clichΓ© unturned while offering little that's interesting or compelling. Those hoping to see some kind of subversion of standard genre tropes through the casting of women in the key roles will be sorely disappointed by the lack of inspiration in this regard. The women are written to be bimbos, the men are written to be lobotomized, and both are concealed by editing that looks like someone fed the film through an electric fan.
Jessica Chastain and Sebastian Stan play CIA operatives Mace Brown and Nick Fowler, who are on the trail of the film's McGuffin, an overpowered control pad that gives the user (once it has been unencrypted) control over any computer system anywhere in the world. It can be used to hack everything from civilian planes to communications satellites, shutting down planes in the sky and causing citywide powder outages or cyber hacking on a terrorism level. The hard drive inevitably falls into the hands of a mercenary (Edgar Ramirez), who's merely looking to get rid of such power while pocketing some cash.
The already shaky lines between heroes and villains dissolve entirely as various characters double-and triple-cross one another, and soon Mace decides to ally with other current and former spies who are also seeking the software program, each of them from a different national agency. We have Khadijah (Lupita Nyongβo), technology expert; Lin Mi Sheng (Bingbing Fan), the one who's good with explosives; and Graciela (Penelope Cruz), a psychologist who isn't trained in any of the spy stuff but can read people like an open book. They end up crossing paths and joining forces with German BND agent Marie (Diane Kruger), who is quickly forgotten about as she has less screen time than the others. With all of the usual team roles filled, she basical

He strolled in at 4:30am after doing a show (we have a music venue nearby). He's high as shit on cocaine. Got himself a cup of coffee and babbled for 10 minutes about the layout of our hotel.
"I'm on the third floor. You know the third floor. Up the stairs. Round the corner. There's a door on this side. On that side. Almost got lost. My room's not around that corner, but this corner. You know what I'm talking about?"
New to the community and excited to be here and need some help. I only discovered this book like a year ago and have read it quite a few times already. I love it so much.
The audiobook narrated by Arthur Addison is how I like to experience my Neuromancer. I listen to it almost every night but it was recently removed from YouTube as well as the rest of the trilogy for copyright infringement.
Now Iβm in Canada and the only audiobook version is narrated by Robertson Dean and Iβm not too fond of it. I bought it anyways because Iβm addicted to Neuromancer and I like it better than the one read by Gibson.
Anyone know how I can get a copy of the books on tape version read by Addison? There is also a new audiobook version that just came out read by Jason Flemyng and Iβd like to try it but alas Iβm in Canada and itβs not available nor is the rest of the trilogy.
Please help me. Thanks in advance for any help you can offer.
Hi folks - I'm listening to Gibson's read of the Neuromancer audiobook and *just* discovered that its abridged. (I went to look up 'Imps' and discovered that the transcript is 'emps' (EMPs) in Corto's Screaming Fist story. Then I realised a ton of text wasn't being read!)
I'm kind of stunned that Gibson himself would read an abridged version of his own book. It never occurred to me that it might be abridged. Can anyone confirm please confirm audiobook versions/readers that are *not* abridged please?
I don't mind who reads it. I can see a Jason Flemyng version on iBooks, and I've read about others, but I'm having trouble confirming whether they are abridged or not. Thank you!
If the Beyonder summoned all the following groups from across the multiverse, and told them to fight each other for the sake of their home worlds, only one of which could ultimately surviveβwhat would happen? Would everyone fight with each other, and if so, who would win? Would any of the factions or individuals within them team up and create alliances? This sub is mostly just NSFW puns now.
If it needs a NSFW tag it's not a dad joke. There should just be a NSFW puns subreddit for that.
Edit* I'm not replying any longer and turning off notifications but to all those that say "no one cares", there sure are a lot of you arguing about it. Maybe I'm wrong but you people don't need to be rude about it. If you really don't care, don't comment.
