How to unify China under the Qin (or Tang)?

Basically what the title says. Got bored of horde, was going through the releasables in Ming, and noticed that the both the Qin (original) and Tang (best, don't @ me) dynasties were available. Unfortunately, both have generic ideas and generic Chinese missions, with the Qin being marginally better with 3 provinces and the Tang holding one. Both are entirely landlocked by the Ming, preventing any further expansion, and neither have any great projects, though the Qin are close to the Great Wall. A Qin RP Unification of China run seemed hilarious to me, so uhhhh... any advice?
