So I'm a highschool exchange student staying around Saitama until middle March and I feel like I'm not using my time here to the fullest. I've been here since October 2021 but my japanese is still pretty trash. I try to make plans to hang out with friends from school but everyone is always busy even on weekends so I take the train to tokyo and wander around by myself. I know some people would kill to have the opportunity to be an exchange student here so I'm just wondering what are some things I should be doing/visiting/trying to make the best out of my time? I just don't want to have any regrets by the time I have to go back to my home country :')
Edit: I'm a first year (but will be turning 18 later this year) and have already joined a club at school, sorry if I reply late!! Also I've heard that making connections is important in Japan and honestly it would be great if I could live here in the future but should making connections be my priority now? If so, how should I go about it?

I always say yes to the trade because you need Hawaii anyway as USA for the Senators and in any case it's American land. But assuming the Islands are demilitarized and Japan keeps the Panama canal militarized, what are the trade offs long term (within the TNO2 timeline)? I'm guessing
Pro (for America)
Con (for America)
Is there an archive somewhere or would I have to contact the news station directly? I donβt know which station aired it or when it actually aired. What are my options? :) Thank you!
I am 16 years old and originally am from India. On 15th October I landed in Japan and was in quarantine for next 15 days. On 1st November I moved in with my host family and started school. Now, I live in Yokohama, and I am going to be here for next 4 months.
Its already been one and a half month but I still feel horribly homesick!! I don't know what to do about it! I don't speak japanese really well and my host family refuses to speak english (even though they can but its ok and I understand that they are doing it to help me learn japanese quicker) but still I have tried talking about my homesickness to my host family but they are very cold and unapproachable. They can be very mean too, whatever I do, whether its spending time with them, or my friends, or focusing on school here and studying, or roaming around the city, they keep telling me how I am wasting the opportunity to be on this exchange program. Anyways to make myself feel better I have decided to enjoy myself and tour the city. But since I am all alone I have no idea where to go or what to do! (I have made friends at my school but they are usually busy with preparing for university entrance exam) So please help me out and tell me where all can I go and what all can I do!! Anywhere in Yokohama, Kawasaki and even Tokyo should be fine!!

>The fundamental question as it relates to Durantβs place on this summerβs American Olympic team is, why is he doing this now? Durant is 32, breathing down the neck of 33, and already has two Olympic golds. Who does he think he is, Michael Phelps? He has never lost a game with Team USA (39-0 record!), is the programβs all-time leader in points per game (19.4) and 3s (59), and is second all time in several other categories.
>Durant said playing for Popovich β and for managing director Jerry Colangelo, who is in his final year with USA Basketball β was a factor. So was his having never been to Japan β apparently, he played with a Japanese exchange student named Ti-Shi during his senior year in high school at Montrose Christian School in Rockville, Md., and he hopes to reconnect with him in Tokyo. And Popovich and Colangelo gave him room to breathe as far as a commitment, in the case he changed his mind, which made him feel even better about playing.
I think they messed up, it's Taishi Ito.
I received several questions on this topic after I reply I posted a few days ago so maybe it could be useful to others to share my experience here.

EU citizen, Japan Tax resident. I was interested to access more "advanced" a crypto exchange with more functions, coins and better rate.
I got verified accounts on BitFlyer, Coincheck. Couldn't get Binance to verify with the exact same documents as the 2 others.
Advantages of using a Japanese exchange :
Issues with Japanese exchange
Because I wanted to take some position on coins not available in Japan like SOL, ALGO, MATIC, etc I searched for a new exchange and someone mentioned Kucoin. I did some research and signed up, got verified and started there. I had a look at Kraken, Crypto.com but for some reasons Kucoin stuck with me. All my feedback below is with Kucoin.
Now with my new account available, ready to go on new crypto adventures (real trading platform, trading bots, staking, lending), I needed to add funds there. The easiest is to simply get a new coin wallet address on the new exchange, register that address on the local exchange and transfer.Simple but potentially expensive. The transfer fee is usually 0.1 of the ALT coin you are sending. Currently 0.0004 for BTC, 0.005 for ETH. At today's rate that is around 2100 JPY. For other Altcoins it is usually 0.1 of the coin.330+2100something = around 25 USDT to transfer 10K JPY
You could also use your Japanese credit card to purchase crypto directly on the target exchange. (I usually
