A list of puns related to "Jan Matejko Academy Of Fine Arts"
I saw they offered these other disciplines, did my research, and they don't seem bad and their first year academic drawing foundation for all undergrads is something I can get behind. I just want to know if they teach these other things decently like illustration, concept art, animation and all that? If not then better yet Uarts or PCAD.
I am planning to apply for KABK Fine Arts and would like to know a little bit more about their expectations concerning the portfolio and how difficult it is to actually get accepted.
My vision of art is a bit avant-garde, although I will surely provide works that demonstrate technical skill, I still am concerned about how they would respond to my portfolio/work. My aesthetic outlook and communication will be reflected by the portfolio but I am a bit curious about how much they value authenticity compared to technique. Depending on that I would either focus more on demonstrating technical capabilities rather than %100 going with my vision. Because I really want to get accepted and even though my passion urges me to do the latter, I want to submit something that really elevates my chances of getting admitted.
Any information about KABK Fine Arts / previous experiences would be greatly appreciated. Especially people who applied for it before,, your opinion is very valuable to me.
thankx in advance
Note: I've decided that this series will be posted every Monday because that's usually a slow day and it'll give something for people to laugh at on a Monday. Also, I will be posting a game thread on Saturday for a game against two teams that I have featured in this series: North American vs McDougle Technical Institute.
The team that I am highlighting today is Gordon's Fine Arts and Sports Academy. When I say that it can be a struggle to find info on these schools (because their websites usually don't have much info on them), this is a school that fits that struggle. First, a little bit about the school itself. It apparently has been around for six years and was formerly known as Raleigh's Finest Sports Academy. It seems to be located in Oklahoma City and the reason I say "seems to be" is because they don't list an actual address for their school (because a legitimate school should NEVER tell people where they're located). It's currently being run by the Gordon family, who decided that an extreme close up of the CEO/President and VP's faces are all you need. They also apparently decided to completely ignore the "fine arts" part of their name and it totally shows on their website which looks like a drunk person made it. I usually dive deeper into these schools websites, but this one hurts my eyes too much so explore it for yourself.
Academic wise, there isn't much to talk about because there isn't really any info GIVEN on their website except that they seem to offer boxing, debate and history as classes that are taught by certified teachers (who aren't ever mentioned anywhere on the site).
As for the sports side of Gordon's "Fine Arts" and Sports Academy, they got obliterated by Snow College 85-0 and from their Twitter page, I assume they haven't really beaten anyone else. This seems to be their coach, who is constantly asking unsigned players to send him their Hudl pages.
Out of the three sketchy schools I've covered so far, THIS seems to be the sketchiest of them all.
Even though it's been on Magazine Street for over 40 years now, I feel like a lot of people still don't know that we have a really great art school right here in New Orleans. Apparently it took some pretty heavy water damage from Ida but it's being repaired and fall classes are starting soon. If y'all want to get out of the house and take classes in drawing, painting, sculpture, ceramics, etc., they have classes for all skill levels, as well as classes for kids. They also have studios where you can go draw from live nude models if that's what you're into. I'm told they will be requiring proof of vaccination for all students and faculty.
Hi guys, i want to get into this university but have no one to ask about it (friends etc) and at the moment there are no open door days scheduled so if you already studied there or know anything about this university please share any information that you have. Appreciated:)
