Hello everyone! My name is James G. Robertson, an author, narrator, as well as a sound editor at this point. For my second book, The Ripper, I am creating an audiobook/drama with 46 unique cast members (I'm not sure if this is the most ever used, but I'm thinking of submitting it to the Guinness book of world records once it's completed.)
There are also going to be many unique sounds used. It's over 400 at the moment. Basically, it's an enormous project. It's been taking me, as a single individual, months to complete. From finding the sounds, finding the right voices, doing my best to equalize said voices, then adding sounds and adding effects on top of those sounds, etc.
Now about the book. The book is the second in the series, though in reality it's a prequel and you don't need to read the first to enjoy the second. The Ripper follows Jack the Ripper and tells a unique story with a fresh look at why he did what he did. The story is told from his eyes and John's (his best friend) mostly, though there are a couple of other characters you get to follow for a chapter section. It's a supernatural/horror novel.
