Im a student at JMB and i had heard rumors for the past month that a kid brought a gun and was showing it off in the boys bathroom. I wrote it off as just rumors but on Tuesday we went into lockdown because of a video that was circulating of him showing it off. if you want to see the video an Instagram account called jmb_memes posted it. he was arrested and charged. The next day, Wednesday we went into another lockdown the entire day because someone wrote in the girls bathroom something along the lines of "ill be shooting up the school at 11" a lot of people were saying there was also a gun found hidden in the bathroom. Im bestfriends with the guidance counselors daughter so i asked the guidance counselor if there was a gun and she said "i cant confirm but i think so." Now its Thursday and more rumors that someone was planning to shoot up the school today are circulating. I'm still in first period and haven't heard anything yet but ill update if i do. I got a sickening feeling when my bus pulled into school today, half the students stayed home and you can feel the nervousness in the school.
here's an article about Tuesday
