Curious how you liked the experience of going versus watching at home. At home you can see the whole track but on a road course your view is limited - do you still get to enjoy the race? Was it worth going? Road America set an attendance record for the state last year so obviously people like the experience but what it is it about it? Considering heading to Watkins Glen this year and want to know what I should expect.

Hello! I'm wondering if there are any runners who know of any open races along the Burke Lake XC course? I've seen a few 5ks and 10ks around the lake, but none that do the 2.98 mile high school course. Unabashedly being cringe out here stuck reliving the glory days, but I liked that course and would love to race it again some (slightly warmer) day. Thanks!
For me, I love the one where they're all tied together and they're all carrying heavy bags and the tribes are running a circle half in the water and half out and trying to catch the other tribe.
Also the one where Jeff tells them a story and then they have to run through the jungle by torchlight to answer questions about the story.
