A list of puns related to "J. Francis Mccomas"
I walked through the entrance to mccomas yesterday to get a quick workout in and I was approached by some people with clipboards asking me to take a quiz. I was like ok I guess and it was about sexual health yada yada but the quiz gave us situations and the characters were named after disney/cartoon characters and I'm like tf? I got like 4 or 5 right so they rewarded my intellect with a few condoms. They're wayyyy to big on me even though they say "snug". Like there is no way to make these fit me so would anyone want some free condoms? Lightly used of course. I had to try them all on to make sure they were the same dimensions.
I've been seeing his videos a lot on my Facebook feed. If you're unaware, he pushes videos trying to sell his program on how to wholesale and claims to make big money from it. I view all these the same... Just a bunch of scammers trying to sell a dream.
I recently had a client that used me to try to wholesale a MLS listed house, but he just wasted my time and lost his earnest money because he didn't know what he was doing. It's wholesaling really lucrative? Or is it more of a headache? Is Paul legit or not?
Just wondering how busy the gym is these days. What time do I need to go if I want a squat rack or bench press? What times should I avoid?
Update for people who come across this post in the near future:
I tried McComas at 9pm tonight (Monday) and there weren't any open squat racks... or bench press racks... or even any open seats next to the dumbbell areas. I just ended up leaving. There were honestly so many people it felt like I was at Disney
Is mccomas closed today? Iβve heard it closes during football games but Iβm not sure
Does anyone have any idea why RecSports decided it was a good idea to remove 1 of the 2 smith machines and like 5+ cable machines from the one overcrowded gym we have that supports almost 30,000 students. Like the cables and smith machines were full almost always from open to close before and now they just remove the machines from the gym entirely overnight with no explanation. Itβs one thing if they moved them elsewhere but they were no where else in the gym today. Am I missing something or is that just plain stupid?
Does anyone work at Mccomas Gym? Iβm wondering how much a student would get paid, Iβm considering working there over the next semester.
I was just watching this week's episode of WWE's Most Wanted Treasures, and this week was a special episode where they went around collecting some rare AndrΓ© the Giant memorabilia.
During one part of the episode they were trying to track down a mask worn by AndrΓ© when he was in a tag team called the Machines and was known as the Giant Machine. They discovered that retired WCW wrestling manager Sonny Onoo owned a mask, so Big Show, Mark Henry, and AJ spoke to him in the hopes of buying the mask.
The three of them travelled to Mason City, Iowa to the home of Sonny Onoo so they could negotiate a purchase price for the Giant Machine mask. When they got to Onoo's house, he shows the guys the mask and then tells them he's going to auction the mask off to the highest bidder between them and two other parties.
All three guys got pretty pissed off the second Onoo told them that, because they travelled all that way expecting to negotiate a deal to buy the mask. Francis went off saying that he (Onoo) had nothing to do with the AndrΓ©'s legacy, and that his motivation was "pure greed". Onoo was just trying to make a quick buck off of AndrΓ©'s mask.
Now with everyone pissed off, they decided to go ahead and do the auction but Show said he wouldn't bid above $5000. In any case, the bidding started low and then one of the bidders jumped the bid up to $3000. The Show kept in it by going higher, but eventually the one guy won the auction at $5000.
Sonny Onoo looked like a total slime ball, but I think he was disappointed that the bidding stopped at $5000. He probably expected to make way more money, but sold the mask for only $5000... lol. To be honest, he probably would have gotten more if he listed it on eBay. In any case, the guys were pretty disappointed because they missed out on getting a rare AndrΓ© artifact for the WWE museum. When they got back to the SUV the guys were still pretty upset about what just happened, to the point where Mark Henry said he felt like choking out Sonny Onoo... lol.
Later on in the episode, the guys were able to track down another mask that was on display in a museum owned by AndrΓ©'s friend Jackie, in Ellerbe, North Carolina. Jackie was able to loan out the mask along with a few other AndrΓ© artifacts to the WWE museum.
It was a great episode about AndrΓ©, that was almost ruined by Sonny Onoo's greed.
>***βFrancis Xavier arrived in Goa on May 5, 1542, a little more than a year after he set out from Lisbon. The city of Goa, on the right bank of the Mandavi River, was the largest Portuguese settlement in India. The city had been under Portuguese rule since 1510, and Xavier was delighted to ο¬nd that it was like a miniature Lisbon, with Dominicans and Franciscans to look after the spiritual needs of the inhabitants, for, as he wrote back enthusiastically to Ignatius in Rome: βGoa is entirely populated by Christians*** [Catholics] β¦ We must be very thankful to the Lord our God [Isis-Horus-Serapis] that the name of Christ has reached these distant shores and has prospered so splendidly among these hordes of inο¬dels.β This, as it turned out, was a serious misconceptionβXavier had rashly assumed that the word Krishna, which he observed as constantly on the lips of the Goanese, was nothing more than a local corruption of Christus, the ο¬rst of many such [strategic] misunderstandings that were to crop up in the course of his Missionary career. [β¦] To prevent the recurrence of anything like his earlier contretemps with Krishna and Christus, Xavier had a number of prayers and sermons translated into Tamil, which he painstakingly committed to memory; nevertheless, some misunderstandings did arise from the fact that his interpreters had for some reason translated the Catholic missa (βmassβ) as misezβ in Tamil, which means βmustache.β A great deal has been written about Xavierβs Missionary activities, more of it negative or actually derisive than positive. Superficially at least there does appear to be something more than a little ridiculous in the image of a black-robed Priest walking along a blazing tropical beach and ringing a little hand bell to attract the local children, then preaching one of his carefully memorized Tamil homilies and teaching them to repeat a prayer in singsong unison [New Age]***. This does sound exactly like the standard twentieth-century caricature of the overdressed, ineffectual Christian*** [Catholic] Missionary in the tropics, the outlandish intruder in Paradise, but these were Francis Xavierβs methods exactly, and they seem to have been remarkably successful [for the Second Ecumenical Vatican Council]***.β***

Back in covid the gym was only accessible if you reserved a time, is this still the procedure? What about masks?
When is McComas during football game days? It doesnβt say anything about their game day hours on the website. I donβt feel like walking all the way over there just to see itβs closed.
