Trouble continues to follow Antonio Brown.
The Daily Mail reports the former Tampa Bay Buccaneers wide receiver violated NFL COVID-19 protocol before Sundayβs Week 17 game vs. New York Jets at MetLife Stadium.
Brown, 33, snuck glamorous lingerie blogger Ava Louise, 23, into the Westin in Jersey City, New Jersey last Saturday in defiance of the NFLβs COVID rules β and filmed a series of pornographic videos during the romp. Blonde Louise, who shot to fame in 2020 after she filmed herself licking a toilet seat in a bid to catch Covid, told DailyMail.com she spent an hour with the wide receiver and snuck past security to join Brown for the sex session.

Making matters worse, Terezowens.com reports Louise tested positive for COVID after her pregame romp with Brown. ESPNβs Jenna Laine reports Louise posted the following message on Instagram: βBuccaneers, test your team!β

So let me preface this with the obvious: AJB is a physical specimen with comparable attributes (size, speed, athleticism) we probably haven't seen since Megatron.
That said, are we sure he's a WR1? Between injuries piling up, routine drops, and a relatively low target rate compared to his WR1 peers, I'm starting to question his weekly floor. I feel like he's something between a rich man's Desean Jackson and an injury prone Mike Evans.Β I'm super conflicted with what to do with him. Should I just start viewing him more as a high-end WR2 and adjust my expectations accordingly? I know I can still sell for a pretty good return based on "name sake", but I wanna make sure I'm not overreacting.
His stats are underwhelming as the de facto #1 on his team, and I'm not really impressed with the inflated "1,000 yard milestone" since passing is up across the league with an extra game now.Β Once again, I get it - he's talented, but days like yesterday are starting to take a toll on me (I drafted him his rookie year so I feel I have a pretty good sample size at this point). Just goes to show that no matter how talented you are, the best ability is still *avail*ability.
So what's the consensus on AJB? Where are you guys at with him and how much would you buy or sell him for?
