Any particular significance of movement associated with the use of the Republican Fascist Party flag of the Italian Social State (SalΓ²) in the US?

Someone in my town is flying the Italian tricolor with an eagle clutching the fasce(fasci? The fucking bundle of sticks with an axe). I wondered if there’s a particular movement associated with that in the US or if it’s just a chud who independently enjoys second stage Italian fascism.

[EVENT] Ban the Italian Social Movement

28 April, 1949

The Neo-Fascists of the MSI have been allowed to fester for too long. They are a threat to the Republic and to the Italian People.

We should shut down this fascist organization!

It is the anniversary of the dearth of that beast Mussolini. To celebrate, the Italian Social Movement is to be made illegal and all media or organizations in connection with the MSI will be abolished under Article 151 of the Italian Constitution.

Giorgio Almirante, Augusto De Marsanich, and Rodolfo Graziani will be arrested and prosecuted for spreading the ideas of fascism. Graziani will also be separately tried as a war criminal. Although no regular members of the MSI will be arrested for being members of the outlawed party, any members can and will be tried if they have committed other crimes while members of the party. The SISS in particular with investigate this.

community social work survives on worker exploitation. Anti-work movement is essential to righting this wrong.

The reimbursement rates paid to therapists for fee for service therapy in NYS (the direction Medicaid has moved in after selling our public health care to managed care private entities) is now $30.00 per 50 minutes and $24.00 for 1/2 hour.

Fee For Service means that the responsibility for all benefits: health care, dental, SSI, workman's comp, etc are pushed ono the worker, reducing their wages significantly if we look at the increase in their costs of living due to making them responsible for what the employer was responsible for. Additionally, the paperwork and documentation burden has run amok and is now taking so much time that this work must continue outside of billable hours and is creating a system where the worker is not being paid for their work time.

This is greatly reducing care for the low income citizens, growing in number as the defunding of the social safety net and the increase in educational costs, inflation of goods and housing, etc are being allowed to run rampant.

Additionally, even with off loading the benefits and tax burden on the employee the reimbursement rates for non-profits have created a system of being in the red no matter how many clients these clinics take on and no matter how much they increase therapist case loads. Some therapists havev 100 clients and still the agency cannot afford to keep these clinics open.

This is wonderful for managed care - well thought out to restrict care and pocket our tax dollars we pay to medicaid. They will still be paid contracts to take on more and more medicaid recipient dollars, but won't have the burden of access to care.

Workers burn out quickly in this system, resulting in green therapist getting their hours and then justly leaving this system for better pastures. Yet, these new private platforms are starting to replicate this medicaid defunding system into their reimbursement rates as well. These platforms, prey on those leaving the system, giving slightly higher and still unlivable wage reimbursements for independent contracting.

In my city we are at a point where more and more clinics are having to close and move their clients to larger conglomerates that can shift money from other areas of their organizations to make up for the defunding. But that too will only last so long before these huge conglomerates cannot afford it either.

The only fight is the union and work stoppage fight and sabotage of their ability to get $$. The anti-work and the union movemen

We are on the precipice of social and environmental collapse, the only way out is labor movement.

I was just listening to Noam Chomsky on NPR discuss the current state of US and global affairs and it is clear that neoliberalism, corporate greed and republican propaganda are existential threats to our country (duh). These systems have completely deadlocked the political system from addressing inequality, climate, healthcare, homelessness, retirement etc etc. We are staring directly in the face of a fascist movement coupled with a pending mass extinction event. It is now clear that the only way to address these issues is to grind the economy to a halt. We currently have dispersed leadership IRL, we need someone(s) with time and energy to stand up and truly organize us. This sub is fantastic but it’s only the first step. National organization is needed. As a millennial with a family, limited time and much to lose, Gen Z I’m looking at you. Lead us to the better future, please.

For example, #MeToo was huge in terms of the way sexual assault was seen by the public. Has there been any change in the way trials have been operating for sexual assault allegations, especially in regards to the way juries think and vote?

Or the Black Lives Matter movement. Has that changed jurors’ minds at all in terms of trying to overcome inherent bias when it comes to black defendants? Are juries taking much more time and caution when it comes to trust of black defendants?

The fact that mega corporations support so many of today's social movements, and take the side of "social justice and progress" in the media makes me VERY suspicious. Anyone else feel the same?

Call me a bigot all you want. I myself am an ethnic neurodivergent minority (not sure if the rules here apply but I'm an autistic slav in a western nation), so you can say I have a lot of oppression points under my belt.

Still, I absolutely don't trust all the conglomerates saying they care about human rights. The same companies who still take advantage of child slavery are going on about how "diverse" their environment is and how they hired like a hundred non-binary slave master warriors or whatever new made up position they came up with.

Then I look at all the publications about Kyle Rittenhouse's trial from the mainstream media and I'm like "wait a minute, these are all lies". This was very clearly self defence if you actually look at the footage. Kyle is a massive dickhead and he might be a white supremacist (since this means many things nowadays). However, the fact that the mainstream media is taking the "socially progressive" side on the matter is highly, highly, highly suspicious!

I'm sorry but if your viewpoints are supported by mega corporations, you are not anti-establishment, you are THE establishment. It pains me that the left wing has been coopted by a bunch of spoiled middle class consumerist brats who support the exact same agenda regurgitated by the giga corporations. Maybe that was their goal all along? To adopt left-wing social justice speak and then attract a bunch of privileged idiots, so that the target demographics (actual working class people) become alienated from the movement... It actually makes sense come to think of it.

We lost. And we have no one but ourselves to blame for allowing this disease to spread.

Social Movements - Inner and Outer layers

I would just like to outline a couple of thoughts I have on Semen Retention that I hope people find interesting. I think that Semen Retention and other subs such as NoFap are all part of a broader social movement which has taken place over the past number of years. I think that in all broad social movements there is a core which represents the most ardent and committed people. And then there are broader outer layers which represent people effected by the movement but not as deeply committed.

The inner-most layer in my view is people who are completely celibate and engage in no sexual activity. They are like a high nobility of the movement. Then there are layers further out where there are people who are making a slightly lower commitment such as practicing Karezza but not ejaculating.

And then there is a layer slightly further out - people with girlfriends, people who engage in occasional sex and people who occasionally masturbate although not to porn. I think that this layer is the masses of the movement. For this layer I don't think counting days is a good idea. I think that over a long period of time a commitment to maintaining a certain rate of ejaculation is a good idea. One of the most interesting things ever posted on this sub was the information that Dopamine levels went down and prolactin levels up for 17 days after ejaculation. If people could make lesser commitments like over a year - getting rate of ejaculation down to say once every 34 days or for some once every 17 days.

I think that it is important that we recognise that this outer layer is living a vastly different lifestyle from the general population. And that people who think - I could never go fully celibate - might consider entering into a lifestyle like reducing ejaculation to once every 17 or once every 34 days. I think this also ensures that people mentally have something blocking them from going on binges.

Equally if we had a clear mental picture of the different levels of the practice then people can have a mental picture of how they can improve even when they don't reach perfection. I certainly wouldn't want this post to encourage people who are living in celibacy to go down a level but people who are not living perfectly to rise up

I think this could be a possible outline and guide for people to position themselves on a spectrum

  1. Elite - People committed to full celibacy and avoidance of all sexual stimulation
  2. Lower Elite - People who do not ejaculate but engage in Ka

Is it fair to say that the rise of Social-Democracy in Scandinavia was as a compromise between the Communist/Socialist/Labor movements and the government, to maintain Capital but give their people good lives?

My teacher said this once.

I feel that similar concepts to Social Democracy like the New Deal also came about to diminish fascism - People don't turn to alternative governments unless they're disillusioned with theirs.

So the answer is to make a pretty expansive but decent government that diminishes economic inequality and problems.
