A list of puns related to "Ironman World Championship"
I am very confused, can anyone point me in the direction on which ironman races will qualify me for the world championship Oct 20200?? I am not finding any information on the internet.
Qualified for 70.3 Ironman Worlds via roll-down and Iβm not sure how to feel about this. I qualified via Chattanooga 70.3 and it was my first 70.3. I donβt necessarily have the bike (no aero bars) and Iβm not sure how much more potential I have in any event. I was just aiming to finish really. Didnβt even follow a specific plan except for a 10k workout plan with extended long runs. The more important thing is that I donβt feel like I earned it because itβs roll-down. Anybody mind sharing their thoughts?
Edit: I want to say thank you to everyone who put their input in! Iβm not sure now is the right time for me to go to worlds. Iβd like to get faster and feel like Iβve earned the opportunity. Does anyone know how I pass the slot on? Do I just not sign up in the allotted time?
Hi Reddit! This is my first time doing an AMA here and I'm both nervous and excited :) I'm just off a 5th place finish at the Oceanside 70.3, where I started my season, and entering the second week of my St. George 70.3 training block, which will happen on May 4th in St. George, Utah. I've been lucky enough to race triathlons as my profession for 10 years now and am here to answer any questions you might have! Thanks so much for having me:)
Watch the Ironman and noticed that Laurent Jalabert finished with a time of 9:25:53 (bike split 4:45:47, 23.64 MPH) in the Men's 50-54 age group.
Anyone else know of any ex-pros finishing this year's Ironman Kona?
