Bobby and Iona are both Scottish and they use Scots in some of the conversation, and especially with MC in season 2 she reponds that she doesn't know what it means, and I just get so annoyed. Like, sure the people playing the game might not know, but it's assumed the MC is English then, right? I am Scottish, I know what these phrases mean, and it's just such an irk that MC HAS to not understand it, has to be confused. I know that's hardly a big issue, but it is such a pet peeve that we don't even have the option to say where we are from in the character creation, my god I'd even take a million options in England, and then just one whole SCOTLAND, anything at that point. Just a let peeve, hopefully I'm not just an angry Scot as always

I started playing the [[Glimpse of Tomorrow]] deck (big version) and have been doing pretty decent at it. 4-0 an FNM, top 8 a store champ with 30+ players, and 3-1 another FNM recently.
However, that 4-0 FNM was the first time I played in months. In fact, I literally put that deck together hours before round 1 and was the first time I’ve ever played that deck, lol.
Anyways, as you can see I’m sort of out of the loop with the current general meta. So I’m currently going through Mtg Top 8 to see what I can find out to help me with my main question - when I Glimpse into [[Iona, Shield of Emeria]] what color should I choose and why.
Here’s a list of what I can think of so far:
Jund - black, because maelstrom pulse and Lily
Boros burn - red OR white for path post board. Or do they have path main?
UW control - white for path, teferi, verdict, solitude
Infect - green? For pump spells and elf?
Titan decks - green for titan
Shadow - black?
Hammer - white?
There are soo many more to think of but wanted to also see if I got the general idea correct. Basically find card colors that’ll get rid of Iona and chose those colors. Unless my opponent has a linear deck and I just choose the best color against them.
Thanks for any feedback and info I’m missing. In the meantime, I’ll continue to research the best colors to choose for the most common decks.
