After talks with SAR-personnel around the world, it seems like a common thing to include Search and Rescue-people when crisis and big accidents are happening. Do any of you have similar understanding? Any experience of using SAR-resources?
Many SAR-groups are volunteer based, meaning they have a big variaty of backgrounds, which can provide a uniqe skillset.

These all volunteer groups routinely answer the call to provide front line services during very dangerous events like we just experienced. The Council has been around since the 50s providing coordination of our various search and rescue groups, coordination with County emergency operations center, training and procedures, and all their own time, equipment, vehicles and gear.

I’m looking to join an organization that does volunteer search and rescue. I used to have a much more dynamic job that included a lot more action. These days, I find myself missing working with a team, off-roading, problem solving, and giving back to the community. I spoke to an acquaintance of mine who gave me the hard truth; most of the time you find dead bodies. For every living individual you find, it’s all worth it. These organizations offer training and some people don’t make the cut, I can live with that too.
There are so many of these organizations, I don’t know where to start, I am in the research phases still but I wanted to know if anyone has experience/ suggestions who have worked in the field.
The idea to help each other in groups of max. 10 people to attain a goal you have set yourself sounds … interesting?
If it wasn’t so dangerous … there is unfortunately nothing with this group that you can take at face value - the ultimate goal is not as simple as a group session to help you attain your goals.
Group pressure and coercive mind control are their invisible tool kit to manipulate you into committing yourself financially, your time and isolate you from everything and anything that could help you see through their high control agenda.
What do they want me to do? Well that is it … do the work it takes to become a better human being to lead others … ok wait a minute … who sets the criteria of what it means to be “a better human being”?
Here again it is a tricky one - LIG is a multi-layered high control group - every information the mentors gather about you gets transcribed and referred to their chairman - Paul Stephen Waugh - he sets the rules and verifies if you are above all … financially interesting for the group!
What? Yes that is right, he analyzes if you can be engulfed into their system, how easy it will be to isolate you from your family and friends and how they can deploy you as a loyal follower once your mind has been manipulated for LIG’s purposes …
That wasn’t the deal was it? You thought of being more efficient in the way you go about your daily life and here you realize you are asked all these personal questions via your mentor or mastermind group leader - questions which are aimed at establishing how “valuable” you can be to the group … and then be exposed to “group pressure and mind control” … that doesn’t sound harmless does it?
Please inform yourself before you sign up for anything, if they already have your number get a new one and don’t answer their calls! … once you are in the system the manipulation deprives you of your capacity to think critically which is your most important asset to defend yourself … well what do you think?

Space pirates lurk around abandoned stations, high jacking cruisers, and harassing merchants; not all alien life is accommodating to humanity; AI left in charge of colony ships drift aimlessly through the void; VI's toil away on inhospitable worlds.
Your group will respond to the distress beacons as the crew of a search and rescue frigate, engaging threats across the cosmos. Beginning as a small frigate potentially growing to become a reputable force in "Stars without number".
